OMG girls! Just got back from York and I’m literally floating in a 1,000-year time warp! 😵‍💫 🏰 Medieval Cosplay Vibes: ⛪️ York Minster left me SPEECHLESS! Those Gothic spires piercing the sky... Whispering inside felt like God could hear me. 🙏 Climbed the tower (legs = jelly), but the panoramic view? WORTH IT! 🚶‍♀️ The Shambles = Real-Life Diagon Alley! 🪄 Cobblestones click-clacking, wonky Tudor houses leaning like they’ll topple any second – I kept expecting an owl delivery! 😂 Now packed with magic shops – bought enough "spellbooks" to open my own Hogwarts. ⚔️ Jorvik Viking Centre = Time Machine! 🚣‍♀️ Floated through Viking York – complete with authentic smells (yikes… but immersive!). The actor Vikings had me fully convinced they’d raid my tea next. 👻 York’s Haunted AF + Ghost Walk Thrills! York Ghost Merchants = Spooky legends in every corner. Night Ghost Walk = TERRIFYING! 😱 Held my BFF’s arm the whole time. Heard weird noises at ancient pubs… "wind" or ghosts? Who knows~ 🍰 Betty’s Afternoon Tea = Royal Treatment! ☕ Waited 1 hour – but those scones + clotted cream were heaven. Felt like a Victorian aristocrat in that lace-curtained tearoom. 🚂 National Railway Museum = Train Nerd Paradise! 🚄 Vintage locomotives + royal carriages – I nearly hijacked one! That luxury tho… York = A living history book. Every stone tells a story. If you want real British charm, this is IT!
