York Michelin Experience đ
Today I tried Skosh, the Michelin-starred restaurant in York. For two people, we ordered nine dishes and spent a total of ÂŁ89.70, including a 15% tip. The dining experience was quite pleasant. The waitstaff were incredibly warm and friendly, offering great advice on how many dishes would be filling and even recommending some standout options. đ„© From the photos, it's clear that this restaurant excels in molecular gastronomy. The first dish, Henâs Egg, and the sauce for the lobster dumplings were both crafted using this technique. Personally, I think the flavors are more about the experience. It wasn't exceptionally delicious, but it was far from bad. The portions are quite small, and the potatoes were pretty averageânot as good as our Enshi potatoes. đ„ The oysters were super fresh but a bit too salty. However, the sea urchin with celery underneath was absolutely amazing!! đŠȘ The lamb cubes and fried chicken were just okayânothing special compared to regular restaurants. The steak didnât offer a choice of doneness, but it tasted pretty good. I wasnât a huge fan of the sauce, though. đ The best dish, which I forgot to photograph, was a sashimi tapas. It was incredible! đŁ I still recommend giving this place a try. Itâs not overly expensive and the flavors are quite interesting. But I probably wonât be back next time... hahahahahahaha đ #Michelin #WesternCuisine #Yorkshire #MolecularGastronomy #Steak #MichelinRestaurant #YorkshireLife #Oysters
