On our walk from the hotel, Dad schooled us on Church vs. Abbey vs. Minster: Only a bishop’s seat earns the title "Minster" – making York Minster the grandest! Recreated Jay Chou’s wedding pics (though he married at Selby Abbey – the arches/columns here are eerily similar!). 🎹 The Organ: Played since 1485! Catch live performances Wednesdays at dusk. 🏰 Tower Climb (£6 extra, kids pay too!): 275 spiral steps – so narrow, single-file only! Midway balcony break → then summit views over York!
