🍽️ Food & Drinks 🥘 Vallis Aurea – Local cuisine. Soup was decent, but the schnitzel was a bit heavy. 🍔 Submarine Burger – A local guide’s favorite! Juicy patty with perfectly toasted buns. 🥘 La Štruk – Meant to try their traditional štrukli (cheese pastry), but the kitchen was down. 🥙 Plac Kitchen & Grill / Batak Tkalčićeva – Good spots for ćevapi (grilled minced meat), though I’d had my fill in Bosnia. 🍰 VINCEK – A guide-recommended bakery. Their Cabaret Delle Torte (a cream-heavy dessert) was too sweet for me. Gelato was just okay—nothing beats Italy’s! 🏛️ Attractions (Walking Route Order) 📍 Zrinjevac Park – A chill park with a quirky Meteorological Post (weather station). 📍 Ban Jelačić Square (Trg bana Josipa Jelačića) – The city’s bustling heart. 📍 Cvjetni Square (Centar Cvjetni Supernova) – A former flower market, now a chic plaza with a drinkable fountain. 📍 Grič Tunnel (Tunel Grič-Tomićeva) – A cool Cold War-era bunker with restrooms (thanks, guide!). 📍 Lotrščak Tower – For panoramic city views. 💔 Museum of Broken Relationships – Famous for global breakup stories. ⛪ St. Mark’s Church (Crkva sv. Marka) – Iconic checkerboard roof, next to government buildings. ⛪ Zagreb Cathedral – Under renovation but still striking. 🏰 Kaptol Fortress – Ancient walls beside the cathedral. ☂️ Dolac Market – Vibrant open-air market (check hours before visiting!). #ZagrebTravel #CroatiaTravel #ZagrebEats #OpenAirMarket
