Zaragoza🏰 One-Day Trip in Spain's Hidden Gem

Though it's Spain's 5th largest city, you can explore it all in just half a day! 🚄 Transport • Located between Barcelona & Madrid (~1h train ride each way, depending on schedule). • We missed our train, but the super kind staff handwrote us a ticket—saved the day! 🥺 🌄 Attractions Everything's in the old town, super walkable—no GPS needed! We circled the same spots multiple times. 😆 🔹 Basilica del Pilar ⛪ (Gorgeous! Paid rooftop access = best city views!) 🔹 Plaza del Pilar 🌆 🔹 Roman Walls 🏛️ 🔹 Puente de Piedra 🌉 (Perfect for sunsets & night views!) 🔹 Mercado Central 🍎 (Honestly, not as good as Madrid's markets.) 🔹 Goya Museum 🎨 🔹 Aljafería Palace 🏰 (Stunning medieval Islamic palace, ticket required.) 🔹 Ancient Roman Ruins 🍴 Food Picks Skip the cafés—here are two must-try restaurants (both near attractions & always packed!): 📍 La Flor de Lis Calle de Don Jaime I, 34 ✅ Everything was delicious—order what's in my pic! ✅ Great ambiance + open all day (12:30 PM-12 AM, closed Tue). 📍 La Parthénope Calle Verónica, 16 🍕 Wood-fired pizza = AMAZING! (But skip the raw beef—not my fav.) 🍝 Fresh handmade pasta (a bit bland though). ⏰ 1-5 PM / 8-11:30 PM (check exact hours). P.S. Last pic is Zaragoza's historic panorama (from Madrid's Prado Museum!). 😻 #TravelSpain #Zaragoza #HiddenGems #SpainFoodie #Wanderlust #TravelDiaries #EuropeTravel 🇪🇸✨
