ZUMA πŸ₯’ Boston's Most Romantic Dining Destination

With only 24 locations worldwide, this fusion Japanese restaurant hidden in Boston's Four Seasons Hotel has been on my wishlist forever – finally got to try it! Visited early on a weekday and got seated immediately by the window with great views. Love the sophisticated decor πŸ§‘πŸ»β€πŸ³ Features two open kitchens: one for Western cuisine, one for sushi/sashimi. Followed friends' advice and skipped Omakase (heard it's underwhelming compared to other spots), ordering Γ  la carte instead: πŸ’› Starters: Scallops seared with mentaiko - rich buttery aroma Signature wagyu skewers and yakitori - sweet glaze though slightly overcooked πŸ’› Main: Wagyu steak with good quality, generous portion Medium-well remained tender with fantastic marbled richness πŸ’› Drinks: Matcha Cocktail (we both ordered same) - tastes... healthy (not great) πŸ’› Desserts: Exotic chawanmushi - light texture with mango jelly(?) base Topped with a puzzling golden berry Zuma special chocolate cake + vanilla ice cream Can't go wrong, logo imprint makes for fun photos Overall very Americanized – fantastic if you don't expect authentic Japanese $130 per person β€’ Great value β€’ Upscale ambiance Excellent service β€’ Delicious food β€’ Convenient location πŸ‘ Trally believe this will be my go-to spot for every future romantic date! #BostonEats #StudyInUS #LifeAbroad #BeautifulDining #DateNightRestaurants #FoodReview
