Zurich Cathedral's Chagall Stained Glass Windows
✨ Located in the old town of Zurich, the Fraumünster Church in Zurich is famous for its stained glass windows by Marc Chagall. If you're a fan of Chagall like me, you must not miss it when you come to Zurich. ✨ Chagall began creating stained glass in his seventies. As a devout Jew, many of his works are related to religious themes, and these five large stained glass windows are no exception. These works are very much in the Chagall style, with bright colors and dreamy characters. Even when depicting biblical stories, they are beautiful and touching. No wonder Picasso said he was "a man who had angels in his mind." ✨ At the intersection by the church entrance, you can enjoy a distant view of the snow-capped mountains. ✨ In front of the church is the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, a five-star hotel, where a large crowd of fans is waiting for Taylor Swift to come out (it's said she's staying inside). In early July, Taylor Swift held a concert in Zurich, and you could see Swifties in shiny short skirts everywhere, filling the city with a joyful atmosphere of unity. Many fans, judging by their accents, are Americans who have traveled thousands of miles to see the concert. It's not just Zurich; later, when traveling in other parts of Switzerland, I still saw many Swifties. It's amazing how she can energize the whole old town with her influence. #Switzerland #Zurich #StainedGlass #Chagall #Art
