It has a history of 127 years, and the current owner, Rolf Hiltl, is the fourth generation of the Hiltl family to run the business. 🌟 🥗 Hiltl has always been my and Miao's favorite vegetarian spot in Zurich. Initially, we were unaware of the restaurant's storied history. We often visited the branch on the top floor of Bahnhofstrasse (address below), where we'd have dinner before heading to a concert or a lakeside stroll. Although it's a Western-style vegetarian buffet, the flavors incorporate elements of Indian and Thai cuisine. With a wide variety of dishes and a comfortable setting, there's always plenty to choose from. 🥗 👩🏻‍💻 The other day, while taking a walk, we discovered Hiltl's flagship store. Yesterday, we decided to bring our laptops there for coffee. We stumbled upon the restaurant's secret—it's the Guinness World Records-certified oldest continuously operating vegetarian restaurant. Hiltl has become a symbol of Zurich, featured in every city guide. Even notable figures like Paul McCartney and Marc Foster have dined here. 📖 ☕️ On a nice day, you can dine outdoors and enjoy the added bonus of a "Zurich neighborhood supercar parade." In my informal count, at least 10 top-tier supercars and classic cars pass by every two minutes—Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bugattis, Bentleys...
