Was shocked when I initially found this place that it had a perfect rating on Google. Is it a perfect restaurant? No, but it's got alot going for it. Outback patio setting, Authentic Mexican food, atmosphere music and decor. It kind of felt like you were in Mexico City and you were eating at a nice small restaurant (I've never been to Mexico, so take that comment with a pinch of salt😉). I'm not going to ruin the perfect rating and instead rate the food.

Shrimp Tacos (9.4/10). First time having shrimp Tacos and I'd be surprised if I had better. All Tacos are double wrapped in well made corn tortillas. I had and could've ate 6 more.

It's important to note that I drove out of my to go here and it's a gem in Simcoe. Shout out to how nice Simcoe is as well if you're looking a nice place.

Barbacoa Taco & Beef Tongue Taco (9.2/10). Never had either and they were fantastic as well.

All my Tacos were served with lime, sour cream and I asked for hot sauce which I think was homemade and had a nice balance of flavour and heat. Hot sauce makes me hiccup and I definitely had it, but didn't mind.

Seems like a family business that is well ran.

Mango Soda (7.1/10). I'm not a giant fan of carbonated drinks other than pop. I don't think Mango was a good flavour and suggest a different one.

Made a mess on my hands and a wet nap would've maybe helped. $41 for everything. Worth it?

Will come back if I get the chance. Best restaurant in Ontario?...

Listen up. They feed the thousands of hungry, hard working Mexican seasonal farmers, who come to Norfolk County to grow and harvest much of our fresh foods in Ontario. I think you would be very hard pressed to find a more authentic spot, in Canada. You step inside, you feel like you have been teleported to a spot anywhere in Mexico.

Everything about this place is legit. Everything is on point. There is a storefront on next street that sells Mexican products. The food is so good here. Coca Cola bottles are from Mexico. The good stuff. Jarritos sodas. Canelo fights on repeat on big screen. A great spot for the workers to eat and drink.

The girl at the booth is a bit shy and odd (we all are), but I do find she is really nice, if you are pleasant and respectful. Pick any 3 soft tacos for $15. $10 burritos. Really cannot go wrong here. Personally I like the carnitas (steak) and barbacoa.

So blessed to have this incredible food and vibe in our community. The hard workers of this community deserve it. A total bonus for the locals, who love good foods.

Note: I put sour cream on some of my tacos. You might have to ask for some if you expect it. Apparently I can never be truly Mexican, until I stop that odd (see they think I'm strange too) habit. Sour cream is...

I moved two hours away end of June, and I really missed going to Lily's tacos for the BEST TACOS and the atmosphere and vibes. I had an appointment and told myself I'm not going home without getting Lily's tacos first.

As soon as I walked in the cashier knew me by name, remember I moved and asked how I was doing.. As well as remembered my two year old toddler by name and asked how she was doing!

I got barbacoa, pastor, bistec, and lingua and all of the meats were very moist and not dried out. Extra white onion and cilantro just like I asked and I washed my vehicle while it was being made and they called me when it was ready for pick up.

Big hugs all around - Thanks Lily for always being so friendly and kind! I feel the love when I go there and the food is hands down the best tacos I ever ate.

Go see Lily and Enrique and tell them Koreen and Riley sent you and we sat hi!!!!!! You won't regret it! ❤️❤️

** I always get more then I need so make sure you get the 4 tacos and I used an air fryer for reheating mine. I also try and bring a friend with me that's never had Lily's tacos to...

Simply put: wow. Authentic, flavourful, and filling! Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed with Spanish music to add to it. Will be back for sure!
