We are having a great time in Totot traditional restaurants. The shekla tibs were absolutely delicious - perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the portion size was generous. The coffee ceremony was a wonderful experience, with the rich aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans filling the air. The traditional process of roasting and brewing the coffee was fascinating to watch, and the final cup of coffee was rich and satisfying. Overall, a fantastic dining experience at Totot Traditional Restaurant - highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Ethiopian cuisine and culture.

Our friend suggested this place so we did a double date. We asked our friend to order for us in Amharic. He suggested Kitfo and I agreed as long as it's cooked through. It was excellent, like a fine ground beef. I asked if the (chicken) Doro wet and doro tibs was good and they said yes so he ordered that. All of the food arrived as the show was getting started, around 7pm or so. It all tasted great. They brought some spicy sauce with horse radish and it was excellent as well. The entertainment made it worth the price. Singers and dancers were amazing. The shoulder and neck movements were unbelievable. Definitely coming back.

If you want the best food poisoning make sure you visit this place. I ordered raw kitfo and I had the worst food poisoning ever! Throwing up, stomach pain and diarrhea for about 10 days I felt extremely exhausted and lost weight. I was visiting so 10 days In bed I didn't do anything, you can imagine the frustration. I've been sick due to food before 2-3 days max but this one was intense. It's not even me being unlucky I told my friend and my cousin about it and they told me themselves and another family member were all severely sick after eating kitfo there! Just around me 3 people said they had the same experience and it happened in different times and different years so things never changed, at this rate you can imagine how many more people were poisoned. To the owner of Totot if you are reading this I suggest you train your kitchen staff on food handling , you are poisoning people!! You should take this serious it has been going on for years, I think it should be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Totot is a special place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia To enjoy authentic Ethiopian food with amazing traditional dance as well as very patriotic Ethiopian songs. I really enjoyed the songs performed by different artists at this place. You will be amazed by the performance of the traditional dancers when they perform Guragegna, Gojam, Tigragna and Oromigna dance. Be ready to dance and engage with them very well in order to have a spectacular time at this place. I am pretty sure you will have a spectacular time & I highly recommend everyone to at least try the traditional dance.

Totot is such a vibe. Loved the live entertainment on a Sunday evening with people of all ages. This restaurant made me believe that people in Addis do not sleep. Sunday evening was so alive, alot of traffic on the roads for a Sunday evening. Got to taste injera bread for the first time and it was great paired with chickpea soup instead of meat.

Best customer service in Addis. A beautiful restaurant with lots of detail of traditional culture. There is mostly meat dishes here with a vegetarian selection. Kocho is served here which I had never seen before. You will enjoy the ambiance and coffee ceremony. Lots of traditional antiques for decor.
