We gave 2 stars only for the food which was decent and for the nice view. Apart from that, the experience was quite unpleasant.

The staff was really unfriendly, even borderline aggressive, which completely ruined the atmosphere. Right after ordering food (but not drinks yet), we were criticized, in their native language, which we partly understood, just because we hadn't ordered any drinks. It's not mandatory to drink something with your meal, especially when trying to be health-conscious.

One of the staff members acted so rudely that we had to ask him if something was wrong, as he looked visibly annoyed and even slammed the menus on the table, simply because we picked one up from the neighboring table. He hadn’t even brought us menus when we arrived, which would’ve been the normal thing to do.

Service was generally unprofessional: they forgot the sauces we asked for (ketchup and mayo), and instead of just admitting it, they insisted aggressively that it was “coming soon” in a very unpleasant tone.

Portions were also disappointing considering the price, very few fries, and the amount of fish was minimal. On top of that, the tartar sauce provided was far too little for the number of fish pieces. After 3–4 bites, there was nothing left to dip.

Overall, even though the food was fine and the location is beautiful, the negative aspects completely outweighed the rest. We have no intention of returning, which is unfortunate, because we actually used to...

We arrived to have a drink. 6 people. One of us can’t have carbonated drinks and the only options were raspberry syrup water or water. We asked for the syrup, 2 dl. The waiter told us that we had to order 5dl because 2 is for kids. The menu says nothing about it. We told the waiter that this lady never tasted it before and didn’t know whether she would like it or not. The waiter then told us that raspberries exist in Africa, America, Europe, everywhere. I told him that syrups are not common in Spain, where the lady comes from, and could she please taste it before. He rudely said she has to buy the bigger glass. He then brought us our order wrong. I had asked for plain water and he brought it with gas. When I told him that I had ordered it without, he told me, do you sant to have it ir leave? in an ever ruder tone. “I want my plain water.” I then asked to see the manager and he said no, just leave it like this. I insisted and then was taken to see the alleged manager. This second manager told us the first manager is in charge of our table and he believed him. So there you go, waiters can be rude as hell and we, as clients, have no rights. They can ill treat us and we need to put up with it. I...

Wir hatten dieses Restaurant schon einmal besucht und damals eine sehr gute Erfahrung gemacht – heute leider nicht.

Wir waren zu viert: zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder. Der junge Kellner war von Anfang an unfreundlich und arrogant. Er seufzte ständig, wirkte genervt und sprach mit einem Kollegen in seiner Sprache, nachdem wir sagten, dass wir momentan keine Getränke möchten (weil die Kinder sonst nichts mehr essen). Das war sehr unangenehm und respektlos.

Der Nachbartisch war leer, also nahmen wir kurz die Karte zur Hand, um uns zu entscheiden. Der Kellner reagierte erneut mit einem Seufzer, woraufhin ich ihn direkt fragte: „Haben wir Sie verärgert?“ – er antwortete nicht.

Ich wollte aus gesundheitlichen Gründen eine kleine Portion essen und deshalb ein Kindermenü mit zusätzlichem gemischtem Salat bestellen. Obwohl ich das erklärte, kam nur ein schroffer Kommentar: „Nur für Kinder.“ Kein Interesse, kein Zuhören, null Flexibilität. Er sagte zwar, es gebe kleinere Portionen für 3 CHF weniger – aber sein Ton war so unhöflich und arrogant, dass ich keine Diskussion mehr mit ihm führen wollte.

Ich verstehe, dass es Regeln gibt – aber man kann sie auch freundlich und kundenorientiert kommunizieren. Wir fühlten uns, als wären wir unerwünscht, nur weil wir „zu wenig konsumieren“. Dabei hatten wir nach dem Essen auch noch Kaffee und Dessert für die Kinder bestellt – das war keineswegs wenig. Sehr schade.

Ich werde diesen schönen Ort sicher nicht von meiner Liste streichen – aber wenn ich das nächste Mal komme und dieser Kellner da ist, werde ich den Tisch wechseln und auch offen sagen, warum. Ich habe das Gefühl, er ist entweder der Inhaber oder gehört zum engen Kreis – doch ein so schöner Ort verdient einen Gastgeber mit mehr Herzlichkeit und...
