I visited the restaurant twice last week. The ground floor has a very strong fragrance spread throughout the space. While a subtle scent could be pleasant, the intensity here is overwhelming and becomes unpleasant. I recommend they tone it down a bit. I personally preferred the upper level, where there's carpeted seating in a traditional style. However, one downside is that some guests neglect foot hygiene, and the smell can be quite off-putting, especially when the area is crowded. The food itself was excellent. The portions were generous, tastey, and overall worth the higher prices , except for the soup. We ordered the special Bukhara soup, which unfortunately had a strong, unpleasant smell of uncooked chicken. It wasn’t just my opinion; everyone else agreed. I mentioned it to the waiter, who insisted that the smell was "normal" due to the mix of boiled egg and chicken breast. I’ve had soup in many places, but I’ve never experienced such a bad odor. I asked them to take the soup back, even though I still paid for it. Other than that, I loved the main dishes and would definitely return to experience that taste again. I just hope the 2 issues I mentioned can be addressed. The manager, whom I had the pleasure of meeting, seemed like a thoughtful and intelligent person. I hope he takes this feedback into consideration.

Have been there beginning of August 2022. For lunch with my son. Place is furnished in a nice way not sure if it's really Uzbeki style. Check at the entrance for security. Slight darker when you get in but after few minutes your eyes adapt to the atmosphere. Was Saturday and at 12.30 just few tables were taken. But at 2pm was completely full. Nice feeling. Only men, no families at all. We got grilled fish (2 very large fishes) and tikka chicken (one entire large chicken dividend in 4 pieces). Very large servings, impossible to eat everything. Salad was the usual you find in Kabul. But clean and well served. No olive oil available. Naan was good and the 2 juices excellent. We paid 2.000 Afgani, absolutely reasonable price considering the ambience, the size of the dishes and the taste.

Superb experience at this beautiful restaurant and, I seriously loved the rustic interiors. Food is awesome and the service is pretty decent. I loved the ambience of this restaurant. It has clearly marked/ designated floors/spaces for the families to have a comfortable food. I will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants freshly cooked food, some fresh juices and nice desserts. In case you need to request for a little extra or less spices, be kind enough to tell the service steward and they will accommodate your request very kindly. My only request to the owner would be to add a bit more vegetarian food options (which I understand, won't be that popular and liked by many) for people like me :-) Thank you, Bukhara! See you soon next time, inshallah..

I had the pleasure of dining at Bukhara Restaurant last week, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and made to feel welcome. The food was absolutely delicious. I started with the Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, and perfectly dressed. For my main course, I had the grilled salmon, which was cooked to perfection and served with a flavorful side of roasted vegetables. The dessert was also a highlight - the chocolate cake was decadent and rich, with a perfectly gooey center. In addition to the fantastic food, the staff was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and made some excellent recommendations, and the rest of the team was quick to refill water glasses and clear plates. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The lighting was just right, and the music playing in the background added to the overall ambiance. Overall, I highly recommend Bukhara Restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming and friendly environment. The food, staff, and atmosphere were all top-notch, and I look forward to...
