تجربه عجیب در افغانستان از ایران اومدم و طبق گفته بهترین هتل شهره یا جزو هتلهای خوبه، اتاق VIP رو گرفتم و به نسبت بقیه جاها قیمت خیلی بالایی داشت، حدود ۴۵۰۰ افغانی یا همون ۱۰۰ دلار برای یک شب رختخواب حتی در اتاق VIP مشخصه چند بار استفاده شده و شسته نشده، هوا سرده داخل اتاق و ایر کاندیشنر گرم نمیکنه

This hotel is a gem in the heart of Kabul city. I was welcomed by dutiful guards and receptionist at doorstep and served with smiles and enthusiasm. I was assigned a cosy room on level 6 with stable power supply and steady hot water for showers, teabags were replenished daily, and housekeeping by the elderly man and laundry by the motherly female staff were impeccable. من و همسرم مدت ۱۳ شب در هوتل «گلدن استار» اقامت داشتیم. اتاق ما دارای دو تختخواب جداگانه، تشناب با شاور و آشپزخانه بود.

موقعیت: هوتل در چهار راهی حاجی یعقوب موقعیت دارد. پارک شهرنو، انواع رستورانت ها و آیسکریم فروشی ها فقط چند قدمی از هوتل فاصله دارند.

اتاق: برق و آب گرم در تمام مدت بدون وقفه موجود بود، صدای ایرکندیشن آرام بدون آنکه مزاحمت کند. تختخواب ها هم راحت و آرام. انترنت (WiFi) با سرعت رضایت بخش.

رستورانت: صحبانه تا ساعت ده صبح، نان، مسکه، مربا، پنیر چای و کرایی تخم. کارکنان رستورانت بسیار مودب و خوشبرخورد. دوبار صرف غذا در رستورانت هوتل، هردوبارش رضایت بخش. رستورانت در طبقه آخر قرار دارد با نما های بسیار زیبا به هر طرف شهر.
