Restaurant Le Normand — Restaurant in Alger-Centre

I went to dinner with my Love, I loved the place and the food but the waiter who attended us at the beginning was very rude. Firstly; the restaurant was empty , in fact it was empty from start to finish. The whole time we were there and he would not allow us to sit at another table. We had to stay at the table he put us in. We were taking some time to order and when he came and we were not ready he went and threw things, it was not difficult to notice , the place is very small. We wound up choosing randomly since there was little on the menu I understood because it was all in french. We ended up making a good choice. The best part was when we realized that the waiter had left and then another very friendly waiter came, I wish he would have attended us from the beginning. I gave them three stars because the other man subtracted two stars. Very picturesque place with a good taste of food. Le Normand serves French dishes with an Algerian twist, accompanied with a well picked North African wine. It very surprising and tastefull! I will return for sure next time I'm in Algiers. Thank you very much for the wonderful experience!

If I were to pick one point of feedback, it's the music choice. Such a classical ambiance doesn't really go with Nicki Minaj's...

Bonjour,j'ai mange dans votre restaurant hier soir,voici mes appreciations:

1. votre serveur ne respecte pas vos clients ( il s'est permis d'intervenir dans la discussion que j'avais avec mon hote, sous prétexte de remplir nos verres qui étaient déjà pleins )sans compter qu'il se met de l'autre côté du comptoir pour nous dévisager
2. votre terrine est délicieuse cependant mon hote avait commandé un faux filet a point(une semelle,immangeable) avec sauce roquefort(de la flotte),j'ai commandé des brochettes de bœuf saignant( c'était bleu)..l"accompagnement: 2 pommes de terre ,une demi carotte et 5 pois gourmands( trop cuits et meme pas nettoyé,je me suis bagarrer avec leur fils ) 3)mon hote à du rendre son plat (merci de ne pas l'avoir compté dans l'addition)
3. l'ambiance : le serveur s'amusait avec la télécommande de la tv,il a fallu que nous demandions de la musique genre jazz au lieu de la hip hop et rnb qui ne collait pas du tout avec notre notion d'un dîner gastronomique..

Ceci pour dire, revoyez ces quelques détails svp et vous nous verrez revenir dans votre restaurant quelques soient les prix affichés,la maîtrise des standards quand on a atteint votre niveau ne peuvent être négociés .
