TacoBirria — Restaurant in Birkhadem

I ordered a burrito, quesadilla, tacos, nachos and a Cheese burger (I got the chicken option for everything 😁) the criticism I'm about to write is my personal opinion and preference and it's not a reflection of the food for other people. Presentation and looks wise: it rings every bell, it's an actual Mexican food when it comes to looks. Taste : everything is mediocre to say the least, but the fries tbh are bad, they were not fresh and overly cooked, the chicken tasted the same in every single thing, the tacos, burrito, quesadilla, nachos, it's the same chicken seasoning for all of them, and the cumin in the 7 spice overwhelmed the taste of the seasonings if there's any, and the mayonnaise ( house sauce, sauce maison) is meh, the hot sauce is just your regular Algerian hot sauce ( هريسة). Everything should have different seasonings so it can taste different from one another 😅 Ingredients: here is the actual disaster and disappointment, as an advertised MEXICAN FOOD SHOP it doesn't deliver past the looks and presentation, there's no jalapeno, rice, red beans, and no enchiladas or sauce Rojas(yes it's supposed to be in it) and the obvious thing is the sauces !! There's no variety and actual Mexican sauce as I said upove, there's supposed to be: 1- sauce Rojas, 2- sauce Verde,3- jalapeno sauce, 4-enchiladas, or even ranch, and the toppings are alright but missing the lemons or limes and the cilantro. I've been there quite a few times so far, and the food is really good. I tried the nachos, tacos, quesadillas and burritos and I enjoyed all of them. I totally recommend the food.

However, I don't recommend going there on the weekend because the place is pretty small and gets crowded. It'll be hard to find a table and the fact that the staff is not that big will make the service and the food kinda slow and not as great as it could be on another day.

Best Mexican restaurant in Algiers. The decoration is minimal but cute, the place is not too big nor too small but it's not crowded. The service was exceptional, the server is chatty but not annoying and as an introvert I appreciated that. The food was absolutely tasty. Perct. No Notes.
