I wish I read the comments before going to this restaurant. I really hope that you would make serious enhancements, of course you have an amazing view ,and nice deco, but the main matter which is food does not outsand the location. I was served an uncooked cold vegetables, and a soar creem of chicken, plus the combination of rice with a burned vermicelli is not tasty at all. My husband had a tadjin, with a very oily sauce and small cubes of vegetables, this sir doesn't refer to a plate that u put effort in it, its childish plus the meat was sooo dry. The juices were good but not cold! And when we asked for ice we weren't ligit for it! The servers are not friendly, an old man asked my husband to change his seat in a very bad way! I guess it was our ticket out from beginning, I just wanted to give it a try, but I'm so disappointed for such a price and service. For traditional plates, please take them out from menu, even the note down tells 4 plates are available each day, I don't consider rfis and chbah sofra as a resistance plate to count it like today! This was my opinion Hope you do some actual changing (: it took lot of time it...
Read moreDespite calling ahead to speak with the manager and confirm a few details — including the closing time prior to the public holiday — at no point was it mentioned that the only dishes available would be a very small escalope with a minimal portion of vegetables, along with a few skewers of meat and fish.
The meal lacked flavor and was disproportionately expensive given both the quantity and quality. We requested an appetizer but were informed none were available, only to later notice that other tables had been served some — indicating inconsistency and a lack of professionalism.
No goodwill gesture or discount was offered, and although we asked to speak with the manager, he was unavailable and never returned.
That said, the waiter attending to us was courteous, attentive, and provided excellent service, which we greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, despite the restaurant’s beautiful view of the bridge, the overall experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this...
Read moreIf you visit Constantine, it seems almost inevitable that you will find yourself in this restaurant. It could be a tourist trap, except that the food and service are (surprisingly) exceptional! Four of us had lunch here today (from NYC, LA, Edinburgh, and Amsterdam), and they started off by giving us a basket of delicious freshly baked bread that we practically inhaled. We had pizza, with a crust that was soft and fluffy, and the used the highest quality ingredients— cheese, merguez sausage. The mains were delicious: chicken skewers, lamb, & steak. The quality of their ingredients was quite high (maybe sourced close to home too?), with well- seasoned sides. We didn’t have time for dessert, but did manage some refreshing mint tea. The service was attentive, although as with most places English was not a competency. In these days of google translate, not a huge issue. And lastly— the fun kitschy interior and the location on a cliff with...
