The reviews of this place were good and that prompted us to book there. However, we had a different experience. Entering the restraint reflected the reviews and we were looking forward to the meal. We were seated and the server came to the table to take our orders. We ordered anyone 2 Entrecotes and a Pork rib dish. The steaks were supposed to be one rare and the other 2 medium rare. What turned up were 3 very rare steaks(pork rib was great) we quickly asked for the T bone to be cooked longer, but it came back the same. There was no problem communicating as between the 4 of us we speak 5 languages, Spanish was one of them. We wanted to speak to the cook, but he just ignored to request and just stared at us across the counter. There server tried to do her job but clearly we were not going to get anywhere. So we called it a day and paid up. That was a bad experience. Al least they discounted the TBone as it was inedible, I really hope they don't mistreat the server, she was good at her job. We visit Andorra at least 2 holidays a year, and never had a bad meal. Shame, we will...
Read moreI am seriously considering full 5 stars - it's that good. The place is right in the centre of the village, but good big parking about 80 meters away. The interior is authentic, very well designed and decorated in local style. It's quite small so I'd suggest booking in advance. It looks old and traditional but with a modern touch too: instead of paper menu you have to scan a QR code to get to a page with the list of dishes in your preferred language - keep you phone charged. The service is good with attention to details but a little bit slow. The food is .... SUPERB. Best meat I have eaten in a long time. The "TartarAnd" was absolutely great, the solomillo was totally delightful. The Blau wine complemented the whole thing. The Berenjenas were a little but undercooked but that could be just a personal preference thing. The place is expensive, but it's a closest to 5 stars I have ever visited. Highly...
Read moreThere is little I can add to what has been said before about this amazing restaurant. Essentially, you pay for pretty average food but what you get in return is the most excellent service and some amazing food. I seated very promptly without a reservation, on a Saturday night (the place was packed). The two waitresses who tended to me were amazing: kind, polite, patient. And the food: absolutely delicious. Dining solo, I tried the beef tartare and the Burrata salad and they were both out of this world. If I had to take a wild guess on that Burrata, the tomato tasted as if it may have been injected with a hint of honey-balsamic. Absolutely mouthwatering. An total must, if you are staying or passing...
