Restaurant Andrea — Restaurant in La Massana

We were excited that this restaurant had new owners, but very disappointed with our experience. Starters were correct, but main course, the fish was way overcooked and served with stone cold mashed potatoes. Puddings were excessively sweet and banal. Apart from the food, there is a problem with acoustics when the room is full of clients. There were two large parties the day we went and it was impossible to talk to one another or hear what the waitress was saying. In the end, the noise was so loud, we were just happy to get out. A good friend introduced me to Andrea the other day, and the food is exquisite. We had the beef fillet as the main and artichokes as the starter. Food photos will be taken on a follow-up lunch and uploaded. Andrea is the owner and chef and is lovely to talk to, very attentive to her customers. Decidimos entrar a cenar dada la poca oferta de calidad que ofrece la zona, entramos por los ojos porque se ve un restaurante decente y sobre todo por precio, ( no es un kebab), decidimos tomar la ensalada verde de entrante y ahí empezó una pesadilla la cual nos asombrados viendo el ambiente del restaurante y la "calidad"de la comida. Un restaurante así poniendo ensalada de bolsa que puedes encontrar en cualquier bar de tapas vulgar, primer fallo, pedimos para el niño una butifarra con mongetas, tenía buena pinta hasta que llegó el plato QUE DESASTRE! una butifarra carbonizada por fuera y cruda por dentro ahí ya uno se da cuenta el nivel básico del cocinero, de segundo se pidió la paella de marisco quisimos arriesgarnos no se, nos va la marcha, lo traen en una bandeja rectangular de 1 cm de alto es decir que puede comer media persona sin apetito, viendo el precio que sale a casi 40€ las 2 raciones imaginaos la decepción, decidimos probarla, salada, sin apenas sofrito, sabor fuerte y arroz muy duro (no al dente) los mejillones demasiado pequeños como si fueran de oferta, esperaba otra cosa de este restaurante la verdad, solo decir que lo más bueno de toda la comida fue un vaso de chupito con puré de verdura que nos pusieron de aperitivo, van a tener que mirar bien no lo que cocinan si no como lo hacen.
