Lobster House Anguilla

I'm not one to generally write reviews for restaurants, but we had such a bad experience here, I feel obliged. Given other reviews, perhaps we went on an off night, but given how little worked, I'm not sure.

1. They did not have two of the first things we asked for, two featured lobster items (grilled lobster and lobster dumplings). We had a reservation when they first opened at 6:00 PM, so it's not like they ran out over the course of the evening. Not sure how the Lobster House runs out of lobster (they also didn't have Carib, how does a restaurant in Anguilla run out of Carib?).
2. My wife ordered a glass of sauvignon blanc. They bring out a glass of red wine. They also then charged us for a full bottle of wine. This was all eventually corrected, but it just added to the complete disorganization of the night.
3. We ordered an appetizer, at about 6:10. An hour later, we still hadn't received any food. As we had our toddler with us, my wife let them know that we'd like to skip the app and go straight to our entrees. They said that the app would be right out. Another fifteen minutes later, they bring out the app, saying that the waitress had recorded it as an entree order. In most restaurants this appetizer would have likely been comped. Not the case here. And I know we're on island time, but an hour and a half for entrees (or any food) is excessive. Don't come here hungry.
4. We've been to Anguilla four times, visiting as many restaurants as possible, and this was the most expensive dinner we've had. The food was fine, but the portions were tiny relative to other high end restaurants on the island. Definitely not worth the price.
5. I should add that there is a serious, unmarked tripping hazard as you walk from the porch into the interior of the restaurant. Several other folks dining commented on this. Just be aware of this if you need to use the restroom and you're on the porch.

Ultimately, we were most disappointed that with so many great restaurants in Anguilla, we wasted a night here. I know the restaurant is relatively new, but after two months you'd think a lot of this would have been sorted out. We...

The experience was great. Leon ensured that all our dinner needs and expectations were met. His staff was super attentive, to the point they wouldn't even allow us to place the serviette or pour our own water. All dinner courses were served timely/orderly. The attention given created an atmosphere of what Real service should be when dining out. The Lobster was great, the lobster bisque was to die for. However, while the ribeye was wonderful, it wasn't home raised Montana beef, but considering we are in Anguilla, I won't hold that against them. This is a must go! We stared with the lobster salad, the flavor was so fresh and they defiantly didn't skimp on the lobster. For our main dishes we ordered the grilled lobster and lobster pasta,.
