SandBar — Restaurant in Anguilla

Had the best dinner and dining experience at the SandBar during our vacation! Ordered drinks and tapas and had a beachfront table with great view of Road Bay/Sandy Ground. My favorites were the lobster tacos, kung pao cauliflower and the chimichurri steak tapas, but the shining star amongst many stars was the johnnycake sundae! This was the most delicious creation I have tasted, and I could have eaten 10 more! In addition, both the chef and the owner came to our table to talk to us, which we enjoyed so much, learning about the history as well as the inspirations for the wonderful spice choices within each dish. Wish we had found this gem earlier in our trip, as we would have frequented it daily! Definitely going back on our next visit...

SandBar is another wonderful gem in Sandy Ground that just hits the mark on all ends. The service was wonderful, we even found a coupon for a complimentary cocktail in our car rental which was truly a nice touch but my father got the Piglet cocktail which was fabulous and I got the coconut water mocktail which still is probably hands down my favorite drink on the island so far. The tapas were great for sharing and the ambience was amazing. A little fact is that they have cats around the entrance that were so so sweet and gentle and was nice for me as I missed my furry friends at home. Definitely a great spot to visit when...

Our family ate here twice during our week-long vacation. It’s on the beach at Sandy Ground overlooking the bay. Great location! Our family has all sorts or weird dietary requirements, so tapas are a perfect way to meet our needs. All the tapas plates we tried were scrumptious! We had some of their cocktails too - delicious (and good alcohol pours too!). Both nights there was live entertainment: Omari Banks and Jennique. Both were fantastic. Highly recommend...
