Don’t do it. Had reservations for my husband’s birthday dinner. Husband ordered the special. Friends ordered Lobster for Two (after asking if it was enough to split between two adults and assured it would be). Our meal was a joke. They started strong with our appetizer but it went downhill from there. They charged us for drinks we ordered but were never served, only part of my meal came, my friends’ Lobster for Two was such a small portion (one “lobster” that was the size of a crayfish and at $80, they would have been more full ordering literally any other entree on the menu) and they never received the full dinner, and my husband’s meal never came at all. They charged us for a salad I never got, my husband never received any of his meal, and several drinks we ordered but were never served. The excuse was they lost our ticket (but somehow it was only partially lost?). When we finally had enough and decided to leave, they insisted we stay so they could “do something special.” At this point my husband’s (who is a Type 1 diabetic) sugar is dropping and he just needs food. Our friends are so mad they just leave the table. I wait with my husband for our bill. They come out with four small pieces of cheesecake like that’s supposed to make up for not getting over half our dinner order. The waitress couldn’t understand he had not eaten dinner AT ALL because they never brought it out. Same for the other half of our dinners. They made a big production over bringing out these cheesecakes after we repeatedly told them to just bring the bill so we could leave. Even after that, it took two times for them to finally adjust our bill to what we actually received. DO NOT BE FOOLED TO THINK THE LOBSTER FOR TWO IS ACTUALLY ENOUGH FOR TWO PEOPLE. I sent a friend who lives on the island a message after about our experience and he confirmed what I just figured out: a lot of hype for poor service and lackluster food. I had better meals for less elsewhere in Anguilla. Tasty’s is now the running joke of our trip. We left and got Hot Pockets from the grocery store and they were more filling than the meal we got...

Front and center, I dove into the Chef’s Seafood Pasta, and let me tell you—this dish didn’t just give me the itis, it practically knocked me into a food coma of joy. We’re talking about a treasure chest of the ocean: fresh crayfish, tender lobster, flaky snapper, and plump shrimp—all partying together in a silky herb cream sauce, lounging luxuriously on a bed of penne pasta. Every forkful was like Poseidon himself blessing my taste buds.
But hold up—I wasn’t stopping there. I’m on vacation, so of course, I had to double down with a basket of golden conch fritters. These little bites of heaven were fried to crispy perfection, with conch so tender it melted in my mouth instead of putting up that usual chewy fight. And that coconut sauce? BABY. That sauce deserves its own passport. Creamy, tropical, sweet, tangy—it was the Beyoncé of condiments, stealing the show.
And yes, I could’ve devoured an entire basket of just the fried batter and still been writing love letters about it.
Bottom line? Put Tasty on your Anguilla bucket list immediately. This isn’t just dinner—it’s a vacation for your soul. #GratuityAdded

Read moreThis was my second trip to Anguilla (my husbands first). So much has changed since I was here a little over 10 years ago. We came during off season and our last night we decided to try Tastys (has been open for 23 years). It was amazing! We spoke with the owner who was there when we arrived and he told us they had just added on the outdoor space that overlooks Sandy Ground. The view is beautiful for starters. They way they incorporated the outdoor island elements into their decor was perfect. The drinks were 10/10. My husband had rum punch and I started with mojito and went to the Sangria. You won’t go wrong with any of them. Then comes the food!!! We started with the grilled shrimp and Mahi-mahi ceviche. WOW! The food was so fresh and the flavor was perfection. Not overdone just this citrus and combination of seasoning that was perfect. For meals I got the seafood pasta and asked for it to be spicy (for me the hotter the better) and my husband had the Lobster with rice and Johnny cakes. Both were delicious. I don’t think you can go wrong here. It was very evident the owner took great pride in the business and truly wanted his customers to have a great experience. If you come to Anguilla Tastys...
