July 2025 Unfortunately I have to change my 5 star review after my second experience here. We ordered over the phone asking for singapore noodles and sweet and sour chicken. We collected and they gave us the wrong food (rice instead of noodles). It was already near closing time so Hubby waited and they brought out the food which we took home. We found out at home that there was chicken and shrimp in the noodles which we never asked for (esp shrimp as we eat kosher). Hubby went back the next open day to tell them and they're saying if we didn't specify to leave out certain things, we are at fault. I know we ordered noodles, not chicken noodles or shrimp noodles, just noodles. Also, if you know you put meat in something and the order name doesn't say it specifically, you should say so customers know. Don't assume I already know that's how you prepare it. I won't be going back. The sweet and sour chicken saved them a star but that was the last.

We ordered sweet and sour chicken, and sweet pepper chicken as our 2 main dishes. Both came with uncooked, cold green peppers and onions. We sent them back to the kitchen and asked them to cook the vegetables. They returned the dishes within 2 minutes in the exact same condition. We refused to pay for something which was uncooked. We then left the restaurant and had a delicious Chinese meal at Green Seas, on Friar's Hill Rd. I'd quit eating at Stanley's Home Restaurant before because of their poor food quality and dismal customer service. This experience just reminded of why I'd stopped going there in the first place. The experience was horrible. The waiter/cashier does not know any form of customer service. The food was terrible. Order a Kung poa chicken, which did not look or taste like what it's supposed to be. Also ordered a sweet and sour fish which tasted like the fish wasn't cleaned or even seasoned. I would rate this zero stars but this review does not allow you to do so. Just waste $89.00 on terrible food and extremely poor customer service. The health officials need to pay the establishment a visit also. Restaurant was not tidy and very poorly lit.
