Bi Won Restaurant — Restaurant in Autonomous City of Buenos Aires

Visiting B.A. for the second time on a cruise. We always look for Korean food in many continents we visit. Yesterday, our journey led to Bi Won. Upon entering at around 14:15, we saw no customers and a likely owner lady watching TV. We greeted her in Korean and got a head raise but no response at all. Food was good enough and the non-Korean server tried his best to communicate in English. Few local residents joined the establishment and one was greeted warmly in Spanish by the owner lady. After a decent Korean food, we crossed path avain as the owner lady walked within arms length this time. We greeted her again in Korean and got another rude no reply. Incredible! I love this place. I wasn't expecting well dressed tables and very good waiters, that is obviously a nice to have.

This is a place to have a really different culinary experience, and you need to either appreciate asian food or well, have a "demanding palate" as is said on the menu. I tried Yukhoe, I think must be the riskiest plate on the menu, because is very flavoured raw meat. Also, tried traditional spicy pork (very good and spicy if you're not used to) and Bibimbap rice. I just have to say that was delicious and weird. Also, the quantity of food is: A LOT (if you order a dish each). Go there if you want to go out of confort and you're really hungry (and specially if you love spicy food).

The price is more than suitable and I feel really good and well serve in this place....
