We had breakfast here one of our first days on our trip to Mendoza that we enjoyed but unfortunately when we went back for lunch another day our experience was far from positive. We ordered a combo from the lunch menu. Within the first hour of us being there all that was brought out was our appetizers that were cold and our waters. While that was disappointing, our entrees were even worse. All of our chicken Cesar salads came out with water for dressing and completely pink raw chicken. During our long wait for our cold food we witness one of the waitresses touching and playing with a waiters hair/scalp and then touching people's food and trays without washing her hands. So, my sister and I are in Mendoza Argentina visiting family. My beautiful mother recommended this spot to us for a bite to eat. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! It used to be a house but they’ve turned it into this place! Everything about it is beautiful, the wood work, the floors, just everything! The atmosphere was so chill, the music was beautiful, very relaxing. Our waitress “Julieta” the sweetest girl I have ever met! Recommend the “arepas” to eat. The meat on the inside was so juicy and tender very tasty. We later got the flan that comes with a light and airy dulce de leche moose..If you EVER find yourself in Argentina, Mendoza, PLEASE come here! THANK YOU...

Si bien nuestra visita estuvo un poco accidentada, me quedó una linda sensación de este lugar tan original y con una impronta tan propia. La ambientación está muy buena, la temática gira en torno de este misterioso personaje, el tal Modesto, que en los individuales donde te sirven la comida se encargan de describir con una poesía con metáforas de café muy ingeniosa. Lo visitamos de tarde y la sombría atmósfera del salón interno, todavía estaba bien; de noche, imagino que debe quedar un poco lúgubre, pero claramente ha de ser a propósito. Yendo a la comida, pedí un tostado sin gluten y un frapuchino también, sin gluten. El tostado vino semi tostado y el café vino con unas oreos trituradas, o sea, gluten. No venía nadie por el salón así que me acerqué a pedir que me saquen esa galletita molida ya que... por algo pedí sin gluten. Costó entender la idea y después costó en salir, pero salió y salió muy rico todo. Mi novio pidió un flat white caliente (excelente) y un chipa con membrillo... Sí, así de loco sonaba, por eso lo pidió, sabiendo que podía salir muy bien o muy mal. La idea es muy original pero la práctica no es un sabor nuevo y equilibrado, con vuelta de tuerca; es literal: un chipa y membrillo adentro, cada uno con su sabor característico, medio raro a nuestros paladares clásicos. No era como el postre vigilante, que se forma un nuevo sabor entre lo salado y lo dulce, daba ganas de comer el membrillo, por un lado, y el chipa, por el otro.
