La Mamma Restaurante — Restaurant in Municipio de Córdoba

For me, it's one of the better Italian restaurants in Córdoba... generally! So, why the 3 stars? It's because the other Italian restaurants we've been to have been really bad and expensive, like the restaurant chain IT and other local restaurants that also sell pizza and pasta.

Their pastas are really chewy and tasty but the sauces are so hit or miss. Some are so bland (like their meat sauce and cream sauce) while their seafood pasta was a bit salty. Our favorite by far was the cream sauce pasta with 2 medallions of meat because the meat was so good and compensated for the bland cream pasta sauce. But the other big reason for the 3 stars is that the food was a bit expensive for the small portions. Too bland or salty with small portions... I wished it was just a little better.

They lacked servers so it was a bit slow and we had to ask for more water multiple times, though he was very nice.

The restaurant is pretty dark inside but nice. We wanted to watch the soccer game on the TV but those areas were too cold because whenever the door opens, the gust of cold air blew in, so we sat farther back with just the speakers to hear the game.

Parking was easy, either on the street or a little bit further down, there's spots in front of some stores that were closed by dinner time.

I'd be willing to go back to try again later on but not a place...

I wish we took pictures but we were just so hungry we couldnt wait... the meat and pasta dishes were very good~ the meat was super moist and tender. the pasta was creamy and flavorful... much better than other pasta dishes in córdoba we tried. it has a very old school vibe inside.

i only have two complaints... the food takes a while to prepare and the portions for the pasta dishes...

Si mi nonno se despertara de la tumba y fuese a comer a este restaurante se muere de nuevo. Es un insulto a toda la nación italiana que ofrezcan penne alla arrabiata y le pongan panceta. Si eso fuese poco, quieren hablar en italiano y le ponen una s al final a una palabra que ya está en plural (es pasta no pastaS) Si todo esto no fuese ya mucho para la noble nación de la buena comida, no pueden servir el plato helado. Lamentable el falso branding italiano sin idea. Cuando se fundieron en la cañada porque no pasaban las auditorías de higiene debido a la infestación de cucarachas debieron haber dejado de intentar. Por favor dejen de insultar al mundo de la gastronomía y cierren sus...
