MI FAVORITA CACHI — Restaurant in Municipio de Cachi

Nothing bad happened to me, but I'm not sure if I would return with an opportunity,--and if I did I would go in the evening for the sake of no outdoor seating. It's not a touristy restaurant in a very touristy town this time of year and not overpriced. Wednesday, August 28th at 1:30,--but it was a amazing beautiful warm day. The weather was to-die-for amazing springlike temperatures, so amazing that one would want to sit outdoors,--but every table available was in the sun,-- only two tables were in the shade. Siting indoors provided to be too stuffy. They had no coffee,--only tea. After that,--the waitress told me that over half the items on the menu were unavailable. I did eat two great good cheese empanadas that seem to meet Salta Province...

We were super happy with our meal here -- true to previous comments, the portion sizes are very generous and the empanadas are indeed AMAZING. The choclo (corn) one is indeed one of the best I've had, and my partner raved about the charqui empanada! The veggie pizza was big and filling, flavour was decent but not incredible. Side salads were huge for price. And our server was super lovely -- very attentive and kind. Overall a lovely experience -- 4 of us split a lemonade, 8 empanadas, the provolone cheese, pizza, salad, and two other mains for 33k ARS total (mid may 2024). This place is a winner! The food is simply superb – incredibly tasty and satisfying. What's even better is that it's priced so affordably, making it a fantastic value for your money. But the real star of the show is the friendly and welcoming staff.
