Bellevue B & B is in the most perfect spot. Each morning we ate our breakfast at the window looking across picture perfect gardens to the lake and the mountains behind. In the afternoon this becomes a teahouse with delicious hand made cakes and scones or if you wished you can have smoked salmon and salad with a glass of wine. There are some lovely and quite strenuous hikes in the area, some of which we did. Karen and Rolf were very kind hosts and willing to give us advice on places of interest and Rolf very kindly took us to the bus station and helped us with booking seats to Villa La Angostura, a village about 80km away and worth visiting.||||The breakfasts were very good with juice, eggs, ham, cheese, croissants, bread and tea/coffee.||||However having given some positive comments there were a couple of drawbacks from our point of view that took it from excellent to very good. Our bedroom was comfortable with a little balcony providing a lovely view however the bed was a bit on the soft side and tended to sag a little and our private bathroom which was next to our room was only separated to Rolf and Karen's television room by a curtain so perhaps was not as private as we might have liked. ||The location although extremely attractive in the daytime (hence the 5 stars) is very daunting at night if like us you do not have a car. It is only a ten minute walk up the road to the bus stop but it is an unsealed, unlit road, so is pitch black and you really do need to bring a torch, as when we stayed there were quite a...

They made us breakfast when we asked, had no problem with us using their kitchen to make tea or coffee and the bake the BEST cakes. Llao llao is about 10-15 mins drive from the centre of Bariloche. We hired a car for our 5 day stay and highly recommend the same but the transport is good and Karen and Rolf will make your stay easy no matter what form of transport you have. ||||Just near the hotel are two wonderful italian restaurants - some of the best food we have ever eaten.||||Rolf will make you feel like a mate staying at his house for a few days, while Karen will lend you her scaffs and wash your clothes for a very reasonable price. ||||I just can't say anything negative about this place.
