Despite the fact that the food was delicious and the service was good, unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant on January 22, 2025, was extremely unpleasant. My friend and I got severe food poisoning after dinner, which required a hospital visit. As a result, we lost two days of our vacation, incurred significant medical expenses ($300 USD per person), and had to take antibiotics for a week. We didn’t have anything exotic—just a burger, mixed salad, potatoes, and fried chicken. We are 100% certain that we got sick from eating at this restaurant, as the symptoms appeared within 30 minutes after dinner, starting with sharp stomach pain. Both of us felt perfectly fine before dinner, and despite having different “food backgrounds,” we experienced identical reactions. Personally, I rarely get sick and have never encountered such a situation before.
I would also like to point out that two large dogs were roaming around on the outdoor terrace and behaved quite inappropriately: they approached tables, tried to look into people’s plates, and guests were petting them and then touching their tableware without washing their hands. Additionally, the dogs heavily urinated on the leg of a nearby table. The staff did clean and disinfect the area, but the situation left a very negative impression. I love animals, but in my opinion, sanitary standards are incompatible with having dogs in dining areas. It would be better if they were kept outside the restaurant premises.
I hope our case remains an isolated incident, and that the restaurant management will take steps to ensure such situations do not...
Read morethe bar has its own beers which is cool but the service was terrible. we went and said hi and the waitress looked at us then continued talking to her colleague.. we waited a couple minutes deciding if we should leave and she told us to sit where we wanted. no menu, no welcome, so i went to the bar, the bartender was confused why i was there and started asking other waiters where was my table (there was about 20 people working and maybe 20 customers in total) i got the beers and went to sit. after we finished my boyfriend (who is argentinan) went to the bar and the bartender told him to sit, someone will come.. no one had came to our table at all the whole time we were there in the terrace. my bf saw a waitress and asked if he could order and she told us we should ask a different waitress.. anyway she came and took the order. The atmosphere was not very comfortable, and the views were interrupted by the main road and the many cars passing. also was someone had explosive diarrea in the woman’s bathroom and over the few hours that we spent there it wasnt cleaned. i...
Read moreMy first meal when I arrived in town was (fittingly) the Buenos Aires hamburguesa with a Kolsch beer. After that, I was hooked.
This became my go-to place here in Bariloche, since it was very close to my cabin. I've tried the many different combinations of burgers and beers, and my favorite is the sweet honey beer.
The best meal would have to be the ojo de bife. I prefer mine well-done, and it did not disappoint! Between the juicy meat with perfectly-seared fat on the edges, and the assortment of tastes/textures accompanying it (corn, broccoli, beet, crispy noodles, herbs, etc.) --- I was in steak heaven!!
The place fills up quickly when it opens, so I usually come at opening time (5:30). I often snag a table afuera (outside), when the weather is nice. The food always tastes better when you have a view...
