Wow - best restaurant we experienced in our 8 day trip around Lago Nahuel Huapi which included half the time in Villa La Angostura area and Bariloche.
Menu made us think it was a cross between Spanish Tapas meets Argentina exotic cuisine. For appetizers we tried the shrimp, Argentina Bruschetta, and Meat/Cheese Charcuterie board. Shrimp was above average but Bruschetta and Charcuterie were heavenly delicious. WOW. Then we also shared a Trout with the citrus? garlic sauce. The trout was perfectly grilled and perfect combo of moist and flavorful BEFORE we put the citrus sauce on it. The service was the perfect combination of being professional and attentive but also leaving us alone and not coming over too much. Also had a really cool glass enclosed wine vault and the selection they helped us choose was delicious and paired perfectly with our food selections.
It appears that this is a fairly new restaurant in the area and you can tell that the management cares so much about their employees, the service and most importantly the menu/food. We leave tomorrow for Buenas Aires but when we come back to the area this restaurant is a must for us to visit...

And then there’s the main event, the food. Home cooked, fresh and mouthwatering to say the least.
If it’s not the complimentary fresh house breads with aioli & hummus, then it’s the mains. We opted for the eye fillet steak, which was cooked rare to perfection - it came with an artisanal dauphinoise with caramelised onion on top. This was a true highlight and by far the best steak we’ve had in Argentina.
We also decided upon the Sorrentinos (huge ravioli). With so many options we chose the salmon, which didn’t disappoint. It was accompanied by a creamy sauce which complimented it down to a tee.
Of course we had a fresh side salad, which added some more colour to proceedings.
Washed down with two glasses of vino tinto we sat back at the end of it all incredibly happy. The hospitality is warm, welcoming and makes you feel like you’re at home.
This is where you need to go to taste true Argentinian and Patagonian cooking.
