Fusión 40 — Restaurant in Perito Moreno

Cool looking little spot, we had high hopes. First off, the server was wearing pants that were so torn that they were barely held together. I am no fashion guru, but this was not appropriate workwear. It actually turned my stomach.

We tried to order two different small pizzas to experience some of their flavors but they were out of almost everything on the menu.

We settled on one of their Mexican pizzas and I asked her three times “no olives”. After waiting for at least 25 minutes (we were among a small handful of people in the restaurant), we finally got our pizza. The dough was tasteless and undercooked and the pizza wasn’t even hot! Not sure how that happened. And of course, the pizza was covered in olives. We ate a slice or two each and then waited and waited for the server to look up from her phone to ask for the bill. She turned away so quickly and was so apathetic that we had to wait another 5 minutes until she dropped the check at the table to ask her for a box to take the rest of the pizza to go. (There were some stray dogs outside our airbnb that my husband fed the pizza).

All in all, not a good experience. We were very disappointed because we were hungry and hopeful when we walked in. At least it wasn’t too expensive.

This was the worst place I have eaten at in Argentina in 10 days. Food for two people took over an hour to come out and was dry, severely over cooked and inedible. French fries (yes, simple French fries) took even longer than an hour. The waitress seemed annoyed and was on her phone most of the time. We paid for all but one of the meals because it was not eaten, even though the other one was hardly edible. I regret not simply walking out. One of the best steaks I've ever had! Honestly this place is incredible! My partner and I don't speak much Spanish and the waitress went above and beyond to help us through Google translate etc and we received exactly what we ordered, it was quick, it was so tasty and the vibe of the restaurant was fantastic!
