We chose Green Mandioca primarily for its convenience, as it was located within 20 meters of our hotel. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of our experience.
Upon entering, we were greeted—if you can call it that—by Martin, whom I later learned was in charge. His reception was rather cold, setting the tone for what would be an underwhelming meal.
We started with a Caesar salad and an Eggplant Parmigiana tower, followed by a shared ribeye steak as our main course. None of the dishes were memorable in any positive way. The Caesar salad was outright terrible, dominated by an overpowering anchovy odor. The Eggplant Parmigiana arrived lukewarm and lacked any real flavor. As for the steak, it was uninspiring and did nothing to salvage the meal.
Despite being the only customers in the restaurant, the service was lackluster. While Martin was cordial, the attentiveness and engagement expected in such an empty establishment were simply not there.

Read moreThe Green Mandioca is an hotel with an amazing restaurant. A fresh breath of air in a city where there are few options to indulge in great food but luckily Mandioca is there to save the day! One of the best restaurants in all of Iguazú and that's an understatement. From the service to the food, everything is perfect. We had a lovely experience here and I would truly recommend people to drop by and eat here. It is open for other people as well and the food is great. I forgot what I ordered exactly but the dishes were freaking good! The dessert was creamy, sweet and simply the perfect snack to end a great meal.
The staff was so friendly and professional! They took care of us and made us feel welcome. It was one of the best nights out I've had in Argentina. I truly recommend anyone who goes to Iguazú to go to the Green Mandioca. I'd give this a very well...
Read moreWe love to try new places specially when we travel abroad. That said, we rarely stay at the hotel and, instead, we like to go out. While at Iguazu in Argentina we were so tired after a day visiting the waterfalls that we decided to have dinner at the Green Mandioca, and we were amazed at the quality of this restaurant! The place is cozy, with a beautiful view to the jungle, service was super friendly, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented! We will definitively come back if we visit Iguazu again! Do...
