Las Brasas — Restaurant in Salta

I really wanted to like this place, as it’s very close to my bnb rental. A very appealing restaurant with in and outdoor tables. Very clean and orderly. It’s also open all day but has limited selections after lunch service. I was given a bread basket of rolls with some herbed mayonnaise, carrot slaw and spicy white beans, very nice. I ordered Rabas or Calamari, it took at least 30 minutes but that was OK, when they arrived, they were limp, not crisp, served with lemon wedges and no dipping sauce. Obviously they wete in the freezer, quickly thawed and put in the fryer with no seasoning. I was shocked as they basically had no flavor. After a few lukewarm bites, I decided they were not worth eating. I asked for the bill, paid and went to the supermarket to buy some dinner. Sorry Las Brasas,...

The service and food were both great! We got beef, chicken, and cheese empanadas as well as chicken with rice and spaghetti with bolognese. The empanadas were okay; I’d recommend going elsewhere for empanadas (there are many places nearby with better options like doña salta). The grilled chicken was juicy and tender. However, the bolognese was the star of the show. They used cut pieces of beef instead of ground beef and the sauce was so flavorful. The spaghetti was a bit soft to my liking but perhaps that’s how spaghetti is made in salta. All in all, they have an extensive menu and I’m sure you will find something that suits...

Vinimos el viernes a almorzar como siempre siguiendo reseñas y la verdad que realmente tendría que tener más estrellas de las que tiene. Primero nos atendió Ivan y la atención fue sobresaliente, súper amable, comimos riquísimos y a pesar de compartir algunos platos , llevamos lo que quedó a nuestro Apart. Volvimos el sábado y todo fue para mejor . La atención de nuevo sobresaliente pero esta vez del “ renombrado “ Enrique. Increíble como te va guiando. Como hacía mucho frío la atención al llegar se le sumó una sopa crema de choclo y verduras a la panera con mayonesa saborizadas , porotos y lentejas en encabeche. Todo increíble : Parrillada, Milanesas ambas para más personas de lo que dicen, ensaladas, Ñoquis, Lasagnas, Filet, bife de chorizo, mollejas. Sin desperdicio.
