VIRACOCHA cocina fusión andina — Restaurant in Salta

We were pretty excited to go check out this place given the reviews. The place has a cool vibes in a cool neighborhood. But unfortunately the food was sub par at best. We live in Argentina and travel all around. The food was just flat out of poor quality. Cevice was bad, the burger was too salty, the wok andino was this very poor mush, the lomo had some sort of bad sausages with it.

I usually tend not to review publiy as everyone experience is different. But the quality of the food was so poor, i must make sure fellow travellers...

We did come specifically to try the Pilsn- Rubia Aromatica Amargor Con Hoisa De Coca beer that is made from Coca leaves. No, it does not have active cocaine... but it is really good and something to try when here. We also had some french fry wedges with the beer and a little popcorn.

Everything comes straight out of the freezer. Nothing is fresh. They try to cover it up by putting your food in sauces, adding salt and other artificial spices, and serve it overcooked. I ordered the salmon with vegetables and have never tasted something as dry as that. The person I was with ordered the risotto with shrimps which was horrible too. The rice was overcooked, sluggish and tasteless. The shrimps were dry and chewy too. Overall a horrible experience and I would never recommend...
