There are two restaurants at the Perito Moreno Glacier area in Los Glaciares National park. This is the simpler option, even though it's expensive because it's a monopoly. It's a big cafeteria with a good amount of quick bites but very filling meals. It was very crowded at lunch time with huge lines, so, if you can, prepare yourself to go there at off peak times. Service was good. The place has nice views of the forest at the back, but you can't see the glacier from there (some photos here are probably from the nicer more expensive restaurant close to the lake). The restrooms were big and clean. They do have a gluten free meal (2 sandwiches: ham+cheese and chicken), both are very bland in taste, but for the gluten sensitive-non celiac, there are the stew/chowder options which are...

I recently visited this place on my trip to the Perito Moreno and had a terrible experience. Despite purchasing their overpriced beverages and snacks, we were forbidden from consuming any of our own food, even though 80% of the tables were empty. They have a note saying that outside food is not allowed due to biosecurity, but that is clearly an excuse. The management displays a complete lack of empathy, insisting people either don't eat what they bring or eat it outside in the cold where there are no chairs or designated areas.

They were also disrespectful and treated us poorly. Their rigid policies and hostile attitude show they are more interested in making money than providing a decent experience, just because they are the only ones there.

Worst service and personnel...

It is the only bar in Perito Moreno Glacier area so they do not bother much in providing good service. All employees were not nice nor friendly as if they were doing me a favour for serving me (just the young boy/man in the coffee machine was nice). The employees seem to be unhappy to be at work. The food, our sandwich was basic and nothing special. The coffee was ok. The place is expensive for what it is (I am happy to pay if the service and food are good but this place is neither). Sadly there is no other option otherwise I do not...

Very quick service despite the line. Decent prices. They have vegan and gluten-free options, but they were out of everything vegan and count not make it. After asking further, they offered some sad-looking gluten-free sandwiches (their vegan options are mostly gluten-free) or to make the veggie sandwich without cheese. Luckily there was no cheese and the onion and sweet potato were well-cooked. That’s all it had though. Some vegan options here which is nice, but don’t depend on them.
