Gato Blanco — Restaurant in Tigre

We left on the 4pm boat from Tigre. We arrived at 4:45pm at Gato Blanco. The boat experience was really novel with all sorts of homes along the channel. Despite arriving so late, the kind staff at Gato Blanco seated us and allowed us to eat quickly. We both had steaks, which were both delicious. We also had a salad with exceptional cherry tomatoes. Unfortunatelly the restaurant was a huge dissapointment. While the location is beautiful and the trip there very scenic, the food was really really bad. We expected high prices, which we got, extremely high prices. But we also expected that at least quality will make up for it. Everything we orderef was not just mediocre but bad. And on top of bad there was something dead in one of our plates. They did give us a discount for that plate but unfortunately it is not enough to make up for the general extremely low...

The food was okay, expensive for what it is. We had the mushroom pasta and Waldorf salad. The sauce was runny but the pasta was good. However- I FOUND A SIZEABLE CHUNK OF PLASTIC IN MY PASTA and showed it to the waiter.
