Nor Jraghats — Restaurant in Ashtarak

We enjoyed this place as we visited with friends. The atmosphere is nice and charming, we only wished we could be closer to the river, but still, it was nice being under the trees. The food was amazing, we were even surprised given our general experience in Armenia. The prices were also great, which makes us think that we want to come back. Another factor of standing out is the treatment of the people. That is something really rare in this part of the world. In general, our Ashtarak experience was enhanced by this place. Definitely huge potential....

Worst service ever! The waitresses were angry and ignoring us, we were the only foreigner there, we had to wait for 45 minutes although it was not busy and most tables were available, after standing there and being ignored we were given a table, 10 minutes later she asked us to move to another place which was not even a dining table. Told us to pull chairs together and make our own table. Worst service and staff ever, don’t recommend it to anyone. Grumpy and not...

What really stands out about this place is the scenery. Beautifully green with the gentle sounds of water from all directions. We sat outside, which is the thing to do here. The food did not disappoint. Likely the best lamb khashlama I've had in country, though a tad over-salted. Tabbouleh was good. Everything we ordered was fresh and hot and the entrees came together. Look forward to visiting again...great family...
