Hayetsi — Restaurant in Sevan

this island is a nightmare. we came here to see nature, we walked past the stalls and restaurants. there were dogs everywhere, uncastrated and in a bad condition. no one here cares about them. there was even a woman with a grim face standing in front of the restaurant who was obviously part of the restaurant. she had stones on a table next to her and was threatening the dogs with them, even though the dogs were begging so desperately for food. the rest of the men in this place were unfriendly and tried to sell us their souvenirs in an impertinent tone. i can see that there is no one with a heart here, they are selfish and leave the animals there to themselves. i will inform authorities to go there and save the dogs, i will do my best to bring them away from this...

We had lunch there the other day and decided to try two Sig fish dishes - barbecued and the stew.

The food took a while to come but was well worth the wait.

The barbecued (whole fish) version was delicious and came with large slices of lemon to squeeze over. The stewed version wasn't a stew as we would know it. The whole fish was poached and came with a large whole poached tomato, a poached green pepper and poached potato. Despite it not quite being what we expected, it was very nice.

The restaurant has a nice view out to the lake and has a decor with plenty...

We had already heard good things about the fish from Lake Sevan and were planning to try it. Based on a local recommendation, we went to Hayetsi Restaurant, which is right by the beautiful lakeshore.

We asked the staff which fish is actually from the lake, and they told us "Fig". So we went with that.

It was truly delicious and satisfying! The portion wasn’t huge, but it was just enough to make us feel full. It had a special taste — something I hadn’t tried before — and honestly, it felt like it came right from the heart of that beautiful lake.

The food was served very simply — with just a slice of lime and a tiny piece of bread under the fish as decoration. Nothing fancy in terms of plating, but the flavor spoke for itself.

The restaurant itself was very clean and beautifully designed, with artistic touches that made the atmosphere even more enjoyable.

از قبل تعریف ماهی های دریاچه سوان رو شنیده بودیم و قصد داشتیم امتحان کنیم. برای همین طبق تعریف یکی از آشنایان به رستوران هایتسی رفتیم که کنار ساحل زیبای دریاچه سوان واقع شده. از کارکنان پرسیدیم کدوم ماهی برای همین دریاچه است و خودشون گفتن "فیگ Fig" . که ما هم همین رو سفارش دادیم.

واقعاً خوشمزه و سیرکننده بود! حجمش زیاد نبود ولی باعث شد کاملا سیر شیم. طعم خاصی داشت که قبلا امتحان نکرده بودم و حقیقتا انگار از دل همون دریاچه و مکان زیبا بیرون اومده بود. غذا خیلی ساده سرو شد — با یک برش لیمو و یه تکه نان خیلی کوچیک در زیر ماهی به‌عنوان تزئین. طراحی خاصی نداشت، اما طعم غذا خودش خیلی خوب بود
