Wow. Just wow. We love authentic Indian food and were so thrilled when we stumbled across this Indian restaurant this evening. When I told Danielle the waitress that I was coeliac, the chef Arbind came out and spoke to us about how he makes his curry and even did some poppadom for me separately in a hot pan. What a legend 👏👏❤️❤️. Verdict? We loved everything we ate, which is why there’s only a photo of empty plates. I had the prawn Mapas curry and my partner had lamb Rogan Josh and we both licked the bowls clean. Can’t recommend highly enough - really friendly, genuine staff and chefs. And apparently they do amazing fish and chips too! My top tip - give them a go.

Had a lovely meal here, an absolute gem for the area. Aldinga Beach is fantastic, very relaxed, unspoilt, amaizingly kept, and not packed with restaurants (which is why we love it) and Aldinga Bay Cafe is a stand-out. Food and service was brilliant, the food is authentic and luscious. The owner came over to say hello and made sure everything was ok. Make sure to visit Aldinga Bay Cafe when you are in the area.

On our way home from Kangaroo Island we stopped here for lunch and we were both so glad we did! Excellent service. Nice atmosphere right near the beach. Food was 10/10! One of the best Palak Paneer’s I’ve had. Nice Mango Lassi. Very reasonably priced too. If you like good Indian food then this is the place to go. What’s unique is that they also serve fish and chips

I never write reviews but I have to after tonight’s meal. Hands down the best Indian food around. Possibly the best meal I’ve ever had. Do yourself a favour and head into the Aldinga Bay Cafe.

Service was top notch. Our server was personable, friendly and knowledgeable. We asked our server her recommendations and allowed her to direct our meal. We were not disappointed.

Friday night so there was a steady flow however our meal entrees and mains were timed perfectly. From that alone we could tell the kitchen staff knew what they were doing and we were in for a great meal.

The food is simply delicious. Fresh, clean flavours. It was evident the Chef and his staff were first class. Generous portion sizes with plenty to share around. You could taste the quality of the ingredients and the care that’s been put into each plate. Fantastic value too.

During our meal, owner and Chef Arbind personally welcomed us and made sure our meals were to our liking. After our meal he talked with us for awhile, his personality, generosity and sincerity shining through. Arbind makes you feel like an old friend.

All the staff were happy to be there. Customers were welcomed like family. You could see that the customers had come back time and time again. A genuine and welcoming atmosphere. Arbind and his staff truly value their customers.

We’ll be back, it’s our...

Warning! Stay away! We ordered take away from the new owners. Our order was butter chicken, mango chicken, rice and a few servings of nan. We were told 25 minutes for our order. We arrived promptly after 20 minutes incase it was ready early. We received our order after 25 minutes. Went home and opened up the mango chicken and butter chicken to serve. To my surprise the butter chicken was stone cold however the mango chicken was hot( i.e just cooked or just heated not sure at this point what thier methods are). We called the Cafe to see what's happened here i.e is this cooked fresh or heated up? We spoke to the owner/ manager, his first response was " everybody nukes takeaway" he was was rude and insisted it was cooked fresh. After a few minutes of logical back and fourth we offered a refund if I took it back, didn't offer to replace at all as we still needed dinner, the owner constantly pushed back insisting nothing was wrong. Definitely will not be returning or...

I have eaten at a number of Indian Curry Restaurants in my time but Aldinga Bay Cafe are the best that I have ever eaten at.I like my curry HOT and they do it perfectly every time. The spices are real and full and you may find cloves, cardamom pods and curry leaves showing an authentic spice base. These genuine guys are so consistent, every heat level is catered for and if you aren't in to hot curry's,mild will be safe for anybody. They also have a full menu of cafe style foods for dine in or take away.Fish and chips, burgers and a vast array of fried foods are also available.Beer and wine have a reasonable range also. Can't praise them to much.I grabbed a couple of HOT,HOT Lamb Vindaloo today for the coming days and they smell divine.Raita and other sides are...
