A great initiation to introduce an authentic newari restaurant. We have had many nepali restaurants but the newari food has a special place in Nepal's cuisine. And lots of varieties of newari dishes are available. There is no samaya baji set in any restaurant in Adelaide, plus they have fried jobro and other newari oriented authentic dishes. The jhol momo has two types of soups, cold and hot. The skin bits of tomatoes can be avoided to make the soup better. Had some momos, the vegetarian was okay but anyway veg momo wont be delightful anywhere as compared to meat. The owner and the chef were very friendly. Had a good chat with the owner, and he came to explain the food to my Indian friends.
N.B. it is under new management, so ignore the reviews that were posted before a couple of months. Let's support them. They are doing great trying to introduce Newa food in Adelaide, and the truth is we all love...

Read moreI had a very bad experience 2-3 months ago. Ordered some Momo's and it was the worst Momo I ever had. I thought the food was stale but I had it anyway at that time. Next day I had a stomach pain, might be the food or might not be.
And, here I am again in this place we ordered buff choila khaja set and I can tell it's surely stale and not smelling right. I know how a stale food smells. Never again. They also served us a dry carrot 🥕 which looked like had been prepped days earlier.
The mula ko achar looks like is made from a preserved raddish.
I have never reviewed any restaurant or services because I don't want to bother when I didn't liked the food but this place is straight away ripping off the customers. It's just crazy how such type of restaurants are still running without...
