Tucked away in the suburb of Woodville Park, away from the heart of Adelaide, lies this hidden gem of a restaurant. It's been here under the current owner for the last 10 years, and quite a number of years operating under his father. Yes, the place has been serving up tasty food to this hungry diner for the last decade or so.

What this place does really well.

  1. The Wet Dim Sum with Tomato, goes very well with the Chinese Savoury Pancake. It's a mashup that looks and sounds strange at first. But that will change once you get into the first mouth full.

  2. Dry Wonton Noodle. A personal favorite of mine. I usually have mine with 3 x noodles. You see, this is the shop's specialty. Noodles. Nothing fancy, just really well cooked and well seasoned noodles. Perfectly cooked to al dante, tossed with their home made sauce among chopped bak choy and bean sprouts with a hand full of bbq pork and a few wontons.

  3. Wonton Noodle in broth. The same as above sans sauce and served in a hearty broth. Equally good, especially during cold winter months.

  4. Pho. Not much to say here, except you can't really go wrong with this.

  5. Duck Noodle in Broth. Beautifully cooked noodle, served with a generous portion of duck that has been braised in sauce till the meat nearly falls off the bone. Yum!

And after all this, you can wash it down with a nice glass of Ice cold filtered coffee with sweet condensed milk.

Long story short. This is a humble place serving humble food at reasonable prices. The boss is old school so it's cash only. **EFTPOS now available.

5 stars because it punches above it's weight...

Went here since I was a little wee baby with my family.

Love a growing family business. They are still going strong and have always been so busy. If you come here on the weekend with your friends or family, definitely come in here early as they get quite busy during brunch hours. You will wait in line — But it is worth it! There is literally nothing wrong with anything here? Not even one.

I always get the same thing here. Always. Even when I order something else and I have tried almost all of their dishes. I will always always always get the famous tomato dim sum soup and Chinese curlers.

A lot of the food here are made from scratch and made with love from the family restaurant. You can trust that it is always fresh too. The authentic food they give definitely makes it that much more special.

Please never stop. I hope their children and children’s children continue this family business.

I love that they have kept everything exactly the same from inside and out since the...

I left embarrassed at how the impatient the waiter was with my friends. We had only just arrived and the waiter (who we believe is also the owner) was very impatient and asked us for our order when we hadn't even had a chance to read the menu. He seemed quite frustrated. I have given 2 stars as the food was good but the service was horrendous and we did not feel welcomed. Several weeks later I tried going by myself to see if the experience would be any different but it was the same. I sat down at a table and the same waiter came up to me to take my order when I didn't even have a menu this time. I asked for a menu and he didn't seem happy that I wasn't ready to order the moment I came in. I understand that it can get quite busy but I do believe this place would be even busier if people actually felt welcomed and treated with a smile rather...

Cannot recommend this place enough! Near authentic experience, cosy food for me. Pricing is decent and there’s a variety of choice food wise. I really recommend trying the donut thing, my tip is to have a sauce bowl of just sugar, dip it in sugar (so good) or you can also dip it in soup (my 2nd favourite way, but bread gets soggy) I enjoyed the 2 menu I ordered in these pictures specifically, even though I enjoy the other menu as well. Been here multiple times and it’s always been decent! Water and stuff are self serve so bare in mind.
