Hi there. I visited your place a little while ago and was not disappointed and it mostly lived up to my expectations except for one thing. The Pumpkin salad was excellent and the Brownie spectacular ! The chips are also very yummy. My only issue was that I ordered the West fried chicken burger and you put the sauce on the side in a container rather than in the burger which meant I had to pull apart my burger to get the sauce in. That's a bit awkward and messy so I didn't bother and just ate it which resulted in the burger being a bit dry which was a little disappointing as I really wanted a juicy chicken burger. It may have been the fact that I ordered the plain aioli rather than the usual menu choice of chipoltle aioli so you put it on the side but I would have liked to have had the choice. Got the confusion burger and yes I was confused. The taste was good but it had no substance. For the same price I could had the same burger with cheese and bacon. This burger was sauce and a piece of lettuce. Could not taste the blue cheese, bun ended up flatter then paper. Left feeling totally unsatisfied. The twice cooked chips was okay but the gravy tasted like watered down packet gravy. As a restaurant this was horrible. No wait stuff, very limited alcohol, no paper menus, no free water!!!, No free sauce, no salt and pepper, had to line up to get a second drink mid meal, 2 napkins a table. We had heard about this place, and we were celebrating an occasion, so decided to go to the Cheeky Chook last night. It was more expensive than most but we were happy to pay as we were expecting delicious 'Masterchef' quality food. We ordered 2 x 1/4 chooks. One would have been close to 1/4 in size, the other was probably 1/8th if it was lucky. I'm not sure if we got the chicken that had been sitting there since that morning - or perhaps the morning before - but it was literally the driest chicken we've had in our lives and it was so bad we couldn't eat it.
