Dumpling House — Restaurant in Adelaide

Very disappointed with the quality of food I received from here.

Bbq pork buns were very dry and tasted like it was cook hours before receiving. It was flavourless with minimal filling.

The satay skewers were also very flavourless. The chicken its self was very dry and tough.

10pcs of pan cooked pork dumplings were the only reason for a 2 star rating. For a dumpling house they too lacked in flavour as I have cooked frozen store bought dumplings that tasted better then these.

I waited over an hour after the moment ordered to delivery. I ordered at 9pm (a non peak time)

I rang tonight to place an order for pick up. The phone was answered with a simple hello, no business name. The first call I barely got through the hellos before being hung up on. When I rang back and tried to place my order the worker could not understand me. I spent a considerable amount of time trying to place an order and then asked if I could speak to someone else as there were obviously communication difficulties. At this point I was hung up on again. It’s a shame the service is so poor as the food has always been great. We won’t be attempting to order...

The food was fantastic. We loved the chicken and pork pan fried dumplings. We ordered the special fried rice and it was full of flavour. We also ordered the honey chicken. The lady who served us was really nice and we decided to eat in. It might not be flashy to look at but the food and value surprised us. We will come back for sure. Didn’t wait long for our meals.
