My trip today was just a quickie drive through appearance. All seemed fine as I pulled up to the speaker box while looking at the bright and colourful menu smiling, deciding what I shall choose to place within my chomp station today..... then they spoke. It felt as if the sunshine had just been smashed into outfield and been taken over by rain clouds and depression. All the cute puppies and kittens being dragged away from their parents and placed in cages. Though I still kept smiling and placed my order for a large fries and almond milk Mocha before being told to drive down to the next window where I was greeted by the epitome of enthusiasm and joy, if enthusiasm and joy was Death. I still did not let this get me down so I kept my smile and swiped my card with a thank you for taking my money at the end. Enthusiasm and Joy then went on to say "you can go to the next window" with an expression that told me they love their job so much and that they're probably going to go to sleep on the grill tonight and then bathe in the fry vats when they wake from that peaceful sleep. Though I drive down to the next window and wait for my 2 items with happiness and anticipation longing to slide those salty strips of potatoes in to my orifice and slurp that caffeine hit deep into my loins, to once again be greeted with the same face of joy (death) and enthusiasm (hatred). They pass me my meal and with a big smile I take it and say "Thank you and I (they turn away and walk off without even hearing me finish) hope you have a good day" nevermind I think we all have bad days, so I smile and drive off thinking thank you for the great service, only to open the bag and find my large fries was only half full!!!! I SMILED AND SAID THANK YOU AND DIDN'T CARE THAT YOU WERE HORRIBLE AND YOU STILL GAVE ME A SMALL FRIES IN A LARGE BOX....... HOW VERY DARE YOU. anyway this is why you get a 1 star today. Read moreCan't get my $1 whopper via app because store is closing in 27 minutes and the app won't allow new orders. Assistant manager wouldn't know customer service if he looked it up in the dictionary. You modify it to make it happen. 27 minutes notice for fast food preparation. Then I drove to another HJs and the app is still selecting the Anzac highway store and saying store is closing in 5 minutes. Mate I'm at a completely different venue and it's still attempting to pre order from the Anzac store I've driven here specially for this and it's glitching. Hjs fix your app MacDonalds food is mediocre but they're next level with customer service cleanliness and their app is superior my HJs app is glitching and I'm using a Fold 3 with 12GB ram so no my phone isn't the problem.

Update the Jnr employee tried to refresh my app and update store but it perpetually switched back to Anzac highway when I was located on Marion road literally in the stores premises.
The young employee had the customer service smarts to them simply charge me $1 SUNDRY and provided me with my $1 burger 🍔 which is exactly what the HJs ANZAC highway assistant manager needed to do to save this negative experience

First let me say that this particular manager had previously discussed with me, after the same issue had occurred, how sorry he was and that he would personally make sure that your staff would do better.
So I entered your restaurant and tried to speak to this caring and very dedicated individual only to be met with rudeness and was told
'I don't care about your problem'
Because apparently he was too busy. Now I can accept that sometimes when it's busy poor decisions can be made but to tell me that he DOESN'T CARE is not good enough. I'm not even asking for compensation for all the previous cases of theft, which if it were on the other foot your business would persecute me to the full ability of the law, but just to be acknowledged.
Shame on your brand, shame on your management and shame...
