Hungry Jack's Burgers Darlington — Restaurant in Adelaide

Very rude staff. Went to drive through, but he asked me to wait in the bay. After 10 mins he came, while walking towards my car he was asking if I have ordered xyz burger bla bla, he was walking while speaking and spoke very fast. I thought it was my order and nodded yes. But when I looked at the pack it was wrong order. So I told him its not mine. He then snapped at me, with a very rude attitude told me, “when I asked you if you have ordered this, you said yes. Now you have touched it I cant give to that woman and I have to make it again” and he left. I touched the paper bag only, but I understand the concern due to current situation. How about a little politeness, little customer service. I didnt need to know whether he would need to make another package for the other woman or what, why was he making me feel it was all my fault and snapping at me about it. I understand its a stressful situation currently for everyone, but I could not understand him that time and was not intentionally trying to touch other people’s food. Strangest thing happened. I went onto aberfoyle parks website and hit order now. Placed my order at 9.04am at 10.15 am order still not here so sent hubby up to see where it was as I tried calling them but after 7 calls they still would not pick up the phone. Hubby found that they had no order for me. Checked my bank to see if they had taken my money (over 40.00) and found that Darlington hungry jacks had taken it. Called them and yes they had my order there and were waiting for a driver. It is now 10.30am. The manager could not explain why this had happened, said my order may have gone to the closest store ( I'm literally 3 minutes from the aberfoyle store) that is a 1.5 hour wait as he told me they had only just made my order. Still another 15 minute drive to get to my house so 1.45 hour wait for a couple of breakfast items that will probs be cold on arrival. Oh and that is if the driver can be contacted like the manager said he would try to do! It's actually 10.45 now so there goes that time calculation right out the window. I am so angry with this whole ordeal and would not recommend anyone use this service for breakfast delivery unless you want brunch or...

Terrible Food and Even Worse Service

I recently visited Hungry Jack's and ordered two plant-based burgers, and they were by far the worst burgers I have ever had. They were burnt, cold, and completely inedible. My family has had plenty of burgers in the past, but these were absolutely horrendous. I couldn't even manage a single bite without feeling disgusted.

When I went back to the store the first time to have the burgers redone, they still came out just as bad. On my second visit, I requested a refund because the food was simply unacceptable.

To make matters worse, the manager's attitude was appalling. Instead of resolving the issue, he escalated it further and refused to provide his name when I asked for it to include in this review. He seemed more offended by my honest feedback than concerned about the quality of food his store was serving. His behavior was unprofessional and downright rude.
