Where to start... I have never experienced such revolting service in all my life! The lady who worked there (Shoulder length blonde hair) came over to our campsite in front of all my friends and family, who also paid to be there, and attacked me, on my 30th birthday no less. So first off thanks for ruining my 30 birthday! Very considerate! We had paid for our site prior to arriving at the caravan park. The day after we arrived the very nasty lady came over and demanded we needed to pay more money because for some reason she assumed we hadn’t paid, even though we had! She would not listen to my husband at all & after a long while trying to explain we had already paid and trying to get it through to her my husband just paid the extra she was demanding just so we could get on with our day (my birthday). Just when we thought it was over, she continued to bang on saying we had more guests than we should have and needed to pay for them as well exclaiming very rudely “look how many people you have here”. Almost all of us were actually staying at the park over the 4 sites we had paid for and the other 1/4 were guests (less than the amount we were actually allowed to have in, and they were not using the facilities). I had to jump in and help my husband and she started yelling and abusing me in front of everyone. To which I obviously had had enough and told her she was wrong not getting anymore money out of us... my partner had sorted this all out with the concierge before arriving so she needed to sort whatever her problem was out with them and I told her to leave us alone as she was so awful and ruining my birthday. She continued to talk down to me in a condescending tone calling me “darling” and sarcastically said with a smirk “have a good birthday” as she stormed off. After she left she barred all four of our sites (four families, all with children) from buying food & drink from the pool garden. The lady at the pool garden was also so incredibly rude to my friends & family about this claiming “after the incident you’ve all been barred from here”... We had done nothing wrong and not only did we pay more money than we should have, got yelled at for no reason, have my 30th birthday ruined by you guys, you then ruined EVERYONES experience, that we had paid good money for, by not letting us use the facilities. The lady then exclaimed “you had a beer at 11am”... Umm I’m sorry what?? Thanks for creeping That isn’t out of the ordinary, we are on holidays and enjoying a beverage while relaxing at our caravans with our friends. Do you have a restrictions on what time you can have a beer? Is there a sign somewhere that we missed that says no enjoying a beverage before 12? We all had kids, we were not noisy nor rowdy, not one person was “drunk or anything of the sort” We kept to our campsite, in bed early and had a bbq where yes we had a beer with our lunch. I’m sorry if having a drink that happens to be of the beer variety is not allowed. You lost hundreds of dollars by not letting all large four families in here so it really makes no sense. To treat us with such disrespect and then because I had stood up for myself and said enough enoughs you then ruined our time even further, purely just because you could. We have never come across a more horrible person. Upon checking out there was an older couple in the concierge who were also having an argument with the ladies in there. The treatment of the paying guests here is nothing short of disgusting and I really can’t believe these people can get away with...
Read moreThe staff were very helpful, cheerful and friendly The apartment was clean when I walked in; however, guests needed to leave the apartment clean including cleaning the dishes and emptying the bin to avoid a cleaning levy. The plaque stating this was on the wall and seemed cheeky considering the 2 bedroom apartment cost $300 per night. There was a vacuum cleaner in the apartment, and the shared toilets had a mop and bucket against the wall as you walk in, hinting guests to clean any dirty feet marks or puddles. The apartment was cold, uninviting and had a polished concrete floor but there were 2 heaters and the bed was decent to sleep in. The outdoor pool and lagoon only had solar heating and were freezing but there was a 15 metre indoor pool and toddler pool which were warm. Ducks visited the outdoor pool which was cute but they also used the pool as their toilet which wasn't cleaned during my 20 hour stay. The arcade room was a shed that could do with a renovation. The website advertised that it had free arcade games and coin operated prize games. While this is technically true, only 2 of the arcade games were free which included a shooting game and a game that appeared to be broken, the rest of the arcade games were coin operated. The pool table had an age limit of 16 years+ which was disappointing. The tennis court had people playing plus someone else waiting who had booked it for the current time. Upstairs in the shed was a gym but I didn't look at it closely. The food at the bar was cheap, it wasn't the best but it was fair for the price. During my stay the bar opened about an hour late and the food part of the bar closed early because 'no one was at the bar' to order. The bar had happy hour right before the outdoor kids movie which was nice. The splash park was good but the water was freezing. The playground was good. The bins outside were general bins, there were no recycling bins but there were baskets for cans and bottles which the worker on the buggy collected. All in all, while the indoor pool, splash park and playground were good, I found the apartment and other fascilities to be disappointing and the apartment as a whole to be substantially overpriced. I felt that the parks focus was on making money rather than providing a service. I will not...

We stayed at Marion Holiday Park (Cabin 61) for a Camp Quality Family Camp and it was amazing. The cabin was spotless, modern, and perfectly set up for a family of four. It had a cleverly designed full kitchen built into the hallway with everything you could need including a full-sized fridge, half oven and stove, half dishwasher drawer, microwave, coffee pod machine, toaster, and kettle, plus a BBQ outside. The large dining table easily seated six to eight people, and the lounge area was comfortable with a three-seater couch and an armchair.
The bedrooms were a great size with plenty of storage. The beds were very comfortable, and each bed had two pillows per person - a small thing that made a big difference after busy days. Sound proofing was also excellent, with the windows open we could hear the ambulance and police car sirens quite loudly (understandably as they stations are next door) once closed however, we could not hear them. Towels and toiletries were provided, with a daily refresh service that was a lovely touch. Our cabin opened straight onto the large pool area, which was fantastic. One section is indoors and heated, perfect when a storm rolled in. The pool is very long and never felt over crowded.
We loved the Halloween decorations and trick-or-treating, the great food and drinks by the pool bar, and the nightly movies were a hit with the kids. The wristband entry system is brilliant and made getting around so easy.
The staff and management were incredibly generous in supporting Camp Quality and the families attending. It was such a beautiful, memorable experience.
Easily one of the best family holiday parks we’ve stayed at. Clean, comfortable, and so thoughtfully run. We’ll...
