DO NOT GO HERE - COMPLETE RIP OFF!

I only write reviews to vent how frustrated I am on businesses or vice versa as per my profile info. I hope to those prospective customers you review what I say here before you order. After I have eaten this meal I immediately came online here to vent my disappointment.

With this business, I am p off with the UNJUSTIFIED price increases for the exact same portion. The honey chicken and noodles (see pic) is $17! This was once $11.90 (see menu pic) then it increased to $14. Ok Ill allow exception for small price increases but $17! Your better off buying the chicken breast from the butcher and noodles from the grocer and make it yourself and you would still have leftovers! This is a massive jump because of 'inflation'. How did you calculate this? The current CPI is 7.8% as off March 2023. If you were to adjust for inflation it would be $14 X 0.078 which is $1.09. SO THE PRICE SHOULD BE $15 NOT $17! YOUS GOT GREEDY! I hope you review your prices else your business would certainly get no customers for the EXACT SAME portions you serve. 2 years ago you were great, I even wrote a good review here, now I am going the complete opposite warning customers not to go here to get ripped off. Now to the quality of the honey chicken and noodles. Right, the chicken amount was very limited, only 5 pieces max! Yous filled it with those Fantastic Singapore Fresh noodles. A packet costing less than $5 from the supermarket. I am way better off cooking it myself. And even the noodles, very limited vegetables in it. DISGRACE! BTW guys its not cooked fresh its just heated up in a microwave. NOT COMING BACK! Red Ruby Chinese Takeaway is the better. Yous put your costs ahead of quality food and retaining customers. When I visit my elderly mum in Reynella, I always like to have Vietnamese for lunch. After trying a few places in the southern suburbs, I found that this shop had the best Banh Mi. Good flavoursome meat, pickles, whipped butter and overall a great flavour with ample filling in the roll. They were consistently good. The last 2 I have had there were not as good, the last one a few weeks ago, being the worst. The meat was not as tasty, they put half the amount of filling in the roll and overall, it was a bit average to be honest. I think the owners are trying to cut costs perhaps? I understand that, but if you do that too much, you will risk customers not coming back.

I will try it again, as I used to enjoy the rolls, but I won't give too many...

As I entered the shop the woman behind the counter served the last of the chicken wings to a relative at the table from the bain marie, I placed my order of 2 serves of chicken wings (6) she went out the back and then went over to the relative and took his last 2 chicken wings and took them out the back, he looked up surprised at her. My chicken wings were served a few moments later. After getting home and putting them on a plate 2 were colder than the rest. You don't need to be Einstein to work out what just happened.
