We visited yesterday and ordered the zucchini & corn fritters and the eggs benedict with added mushrooms. The fritters (three pieces, about 8 cm wide and 1.5 cm thick) didn’t actually have corn in them—the corn was scattered on the plate along with some sauce, herbs, and a sweet potato purée. Unfortunately, the fritters themselves were bland and lacked seasoning, and there was no salt or pepper on the tables. The eggs benedict was fine but nothing memorable, with a sauce that didn’t really stand out. Service was mixed: a few staff were friendly, but others looked unhappy or placed food down without a word. The atmosphere was pleasant with a nice view of the northern Adelaide countryside. Families are catered for with a kids’ menu and colouring activities.

milk + honey is a great little coffee shop located near Kings Baptist Grammar School and is attached to Kings Baptist Church. The staff are always friendly and the coffee is always really good with their house special being the honeycomb hot chocolate. Your standard options are available for breakfast and the cakes are always fantastic. I’m probably more biased to the desserts. 😄 Grab a coffee after school drop off or after pick up. Just be prepared for the kids to ask for an ice cream. 😂

Tucked away within the northeastern suburbs of Adelaide Milk + Honey serves up great brunch dishes combined with amazing views. A lovely cafe to stop by before or after a play date with the kids (or nieces and nephews) at playgroup in the King's Community Centre, bring your laptops to study or enjoy a meal with friends. What we ordered: - salt and pepper squid + chips - southern fried chicken burger - buttermilk pancakes - milkin' it smoothie

Ordered breakfast a coffee and apple crumble pancakes. Coffee came 23mins after my pancakes which is not good. Had politely asked for coffee when pancakes were served and the waitress replied 'we are so busy with take away coffees'. Therefore takeaway coffees were served first. Other than that service and food was good. Pancakes were a nice size, not too rich, small amount of vanilla ice cream(just right) with small chunks of apple and crumbled sugar was delicious. Coffee tasted nice and was made well. Would return for breakfast in future if I didn't have to wait so long...

Amazing find. I love the Spanish Omelette they do and the Shakshuka was pretty awesome too. You are guaranteed to get a good coffee whenever you order one here. Pretty much nothing to dislike! A real hidden gem. Update: It seems all good things must come to an end. This place has gone down hill. The service staff are still fantastic, but the cafe itself has dropped its standards terribly. The portion size is tiny for the prices they charge and the quality is only barely there now. A real shame as for a long time they had been...
