We visited yesterday and ordered the zucchini & corn fritters and the eggs benedict with added mushrooms. The fritters (three pieces, about 8 cm wide and 1.5 cm thick) didn’t actually have corn in them—the corn was scattered on the plate along with some sauce, herbs, and a sweet potato purée. Unfortunately, the fritters themselves were bland and lacked seasoning, and there was no salt or pepper on the tables. The eggs benedict was fine but nothing memorable, with a sauce that didn’t really stand out. Had politely asked for coffee when pancakes were served and the waitress replied 'we are so busy with take away coffees'. Therefore takeaway coffees were served first. Other than that service and food was good. Pancakes were a nice size, not too rich, small amount of vanilla ice cream(just right) with small chunks of apple and crumbled sugar was delicious. Pretty much nothing to dislike! A real hidden gem. Update: It seems all good things must come to an end. This place has gone down hill.
