Hungry Hen — Restaurant in Adelaide

I am only giving 4 stars because food was great. Chips are really yummy and chicken had a nice flavour! I would definitely go back for the food, however I am not giving the other 1 star because the girl behind the counter was extremely rude. I had a phone order and wanted to upgrade from half a chicken to a whole one. She yelled to the back, threw the half chicken to the side and huffed and puffed as she put the whole chicken in a new bag. I was embarrassed infront of all the customers to have even asked. Sorry that I ordered extra and you actually made a few extra $$$. I said sorry as I paid and she said its ok I just had to tell the cooks because they had to cook it even though all the chickens were already cooked in the warmer, it didn't affect the cooks at all. She looked like an idiot. I understand you were busy but I would be happy if I was as busy...

Very nice hamburgers & chips cooked perfectly! Would recommend.(2017) Re edit on my previous review unfortunately. I have been coming here for some years but recently popped In as I know the food is good. However on this occasion the customer service was poor to non existent by the owner. Sure customer service isn't much to some customers but From my experience good customer service should go hand in hand with good food...

We have been regular customers of this store for many years. The food is always great. I placed an order via Menulog today at 3:27 pm which was quickly accepted by the store. All of the regular notifications came through as per usual including the notification that the driver had arrived at the store. At 4:19 pm, I received a notification that my order had been cancelled. I do understand that orders can not always be fulfilled but I was a little disappointed that it took nearly an hour before I was told that my order was cancelled. It's even more frustrating that no...
