Quan Ngon — Restaurant in Adelaide

Unfortunately i will never eat here again .. Have been getting food from them for years but ordered some delivery for home and after one of the dishes i got the Pork in plum sauce .. It was so overcooked and hard as a rock it was inedible .. So i put it in the fridge and thought i would drop past the next day and show them .. So the owner / manager tells me i should have bought it back straight away .. I said that was the reason i ordered it to be delivered so i didn't have to drive as i had a few drinks and didn't want to risk it .. So she starts arguing with me that it's MY fault and should have bought it straight back .. I said have a look at it , instead of being a golden brown colour it was dark dark brown .. She kept on blaming me so i said do you want to lose me as a customer that had been going there a long time over one bad dish ? I wasn't trying to get a free dish , the food was seriously bad but no she still carried on so i told her to jam it up her a** and i will never eat there again .. So disappointing with all the money i have spent there over the years ..So lady i am glad you are going to miss out on me spending on average 40 - 60 dollars every time i went there for a 19 dollar dish...Still don't...

these guys really need to update there delivery charges ! where i live "Para Hills" it should have been $4 + $1 = $5 but they charged me $7 ?? it's the little things that matter. Part two of this review : our food arrived and now we can eat YEAH !!! well hear we go, I ordered Basil seafood "emphasise on Basil" There was absolutely no trace of basil at all in this expensive half full to the container dish ! the sauce was SUPER sweet which none of us "3" could endure... ended up the the bin! My conclusion in comparison to other take away restaurants close by, Kwan Yen, Rickshaw etc which are cheaper by the way.. Quan Ngon is a disappointment ! I have been all over south east Asia a number of times and the food especially in Vietnam is absolutely to die for !!! So I know what to expect when I make an order, most people really have no idea what to expect because they can't compare... I can! Basil seafood indeed!! 2 stars I'm...

Went here with my Husband for his birthday, and my son, step son and granddaughter...food was beautiful, servings were huge, impossible to eat all, had to take some home, menu catered for all as my step son is vegan, customer service was fast and reliable and polite.. we will all be back again in a bigger group for my family as it was delicious and filling 😁😘 went back again for my son's 19th as we were so impressed the first time..but sadly they changed the menu and were always trying to find somewhere good that would impress my mum as she likes lots of food, but in the banquet was not very much anymore, sadly everyone that had the banquet was still hungry..but I have to say the staff were still lovely and accomadating, but I really hope they change there menu back , then...
