When I lived in Sydney, there were plenty of Coffee Club. I believed they were mostly franchisees, and I guess they are one of the top 10 hospitality franchisee businesses in Australia. I generally felt they were a kind of a lack of characteristics. Most importantly, the quality of coffee offered from most CC they I visited before was quite average, so never keen to visit any particular CC when I lived in NSW.

I don't think there are many CC in SA. Today, while I was shopping in the Gepps Cross Homemaker Centre, I was hungry and hoped to get my usual morning coffee but it was already at lunchtime. I saw a big sign of "The Coffee Club", it's a familiar name so I decided to go.

When I walked to the entrance of a cafe with a big yellow logo "Born in 1989 Limited Edition". I was very uncertain that it was CC that I was heading to, as I knew how CC usually looks like. I was doubtful because this cafe looked very new, colourful, charming, vibrant and offer warm atmosphere. This was not the look of CC that implanted in my mind.

After walking through the door and spending 10 seconds, I confirmed that it was really a Coffee Club. I love their new look as it is much more refreshing and inviting.

The staff was very friendly, the coffee was extraordinary if compared with all other CC that I visited before. The Chicken Toastie was absolutely delicious.

If you are around here in Gepps Cross Homemaker Centre, I highly recommend visiting this CC for a break during your long...

Amazing looking café at Gepps X centre. Clean and fresh and presents very nicely. The food and drinks were top notch. Served fast and the food was nice and hot. Really enjoyable and Couldn't fault any of that.

But thats where it stopped sadly.

Customer service is all about people, and something is missing on this front. They weren't rude, dont get me wrong there. They were just "silent", quite literally each and every different staff member that brought food to our table didn't say a word, not a smile, nothing just blank looks. They walk up with the food or drink and just stand there waiting for someone to say "thats mine" or just placed it on the table walked away. Not even saying what they are holding. When they brought my coffee over i had to ask "oh is that the flat white"

Really it sort of flattened the whole experience. A smile, a kind word, it all adds to the vibe. And considering there are 2 cafes next door to eachother service can make the...

Have been a frequent customer at the Gepps Cross store but felt insulted and disappointed at the appalling service I received today. The guy who was taking orders has no manners to treat customers. I went to redeem the free coffee offer that came up in the Coffee Club app for byo takeaway cup. However, this person seemed completely unaware of this offer. He then said he might loose his job for giving me the free coffee. At that I said I didn't want him to loose his job for me and insisted to pay but then he backtracked. He also said my takeaway cup wasn't the Coffee Club brand but I still was redeeming the offer. I read the offer very carefully before going to the store and nothing as such was mentioned. I left the store with the coffee but felt I was walking away with the guy's kidney. Appalling and poor service. Coffee Club don't offer freebies if the stores don't know about that and then put customers in awkward situations when someone...

Have been to this place a few times and hasn't changed for me...amazing! The Gepps x coffee ☕️ has an wonderful fast service and very friendly, polite staff that these days are very hard to find....especially when you get your arrogant teens always in a rush!! The food was sooo tasty, amazing and coming from Italians who love to explore flavours and won't keep their mouths shut if there's a problem....loved it!!! Our usual flat whites but also wanted to try the famous turmeric latte....loved it!! It's not the place for pancakes (go to pancake kitchen for those!!) or simple toast....it's for unique flavours or you add them!! We love it every time and we'll be back to try every unique plate!! 👍💯
